  • External Control [e.g. antenna switch interface]

The KiwiSDR server software does not have to be modified to control a device like this. The existing antenna switch extension already has the ability to run per-interface shell scripts which in turn run whatever command level interface software goes along with the device.

  • v1.161: FSK/RTTY extension

Yes, my software for EFR is already way beyond what was in the v1.161 release. It took a while, but I finally found more details for not only the framing but the telegram formatting as well. Also, I have actually heard HGA22 and DCF39 (but not DCF49) here in New Zealand. It happens right at sunrise during certain times of the year (greyline propagation). This was from November 2016 (note 5:39 AM local time)

  • V1.158 Audio Underruns ? [try browser site-data-clear]

For what it's worth, I tried Firefox and Chrome with OS X and Windows 10 on your Kiwi and had no problems.

  • Software control of fan in enclosure?

No software mechanism. The 3.3V on the Grove connector of the BBG the fan plugs into is a fixed voltage.

You could buy one of the short Grove cables from Seeed. Connect to the BBG and run the other end out the slot where the antenna connectors are. Disconnect the fan from the BBG and run the cable out the slot also. Cut the two Grove connectors off the cables and wire up appropriately to a little switch.
