Is there any chance that FST4 will be added at some point? FST4-60 is what we use for MF mostly. 73 Steve KD2OM

John, I tried to update it again this morning and it got through it. I have no idea why it didn't work yesterday but I tried a couple times then. The url is http://www.ecsykes.com:8075 73 Steve KD2OM

I was able to upgrade two of my kiwiSDR to 1.544. The third one reports as version 1.544 but the config page is not the same as the other two. It does not show the GPS modulo configuration nor the high side injection menu item. I tried updating it a…

I have no green RSSI showing, my SNR are all lower than 20 as well. It seem that it must be that the repeater failed. Manual calibration will work until I get to the system. Thanks RZ3DVP Steve

You are correct Powernumpty, I should have said an user with an IP address that identified as from Russia and Chechnya. My concern was that one user was on for 6 or 7 hours listening on 3855 so probably a ham who forgot he was listening to my only f…

I added a password to all of my KiwiSDR free channels after I found a Russian and a Chechnyan on them for several hours. I assume that will also prevent hams.live access as well. If someone wants access they can email for a password. Steve KD2OM

I have three KiwiSDR’s and several transmitters running up to 500 watts, voice and data. The antennas are separated by as little as 50 feet. I use CrossCountry Wireless RX protectors on the receivers. I have never had a receiver get damaged and have…

I found the issue. The /etc/network/interfaces file was different between the working and non working radios. The non working ones had a static ipaddress set. I must have done this for some reason quite some time ago and conman didn’t change it. St…

Sorry for the delay in answering John, we were overseas and got busy. yes all of them are the same net, i.e. 192.168.1.xxx Steve KD2OM

Problem solved. This morning I removed the chassis from the rack and took it apart to get the serial number for the non responding kiwi. After I got logged in and since I figured I would have to reload the KiwiSDR software anyway I did the normal ap…

It looks like the 14 channel radios don’t report SNR. I don’t see a mention in the release notes. Steve KD2OM

I haven't touched these radios for months, they are doing wspr keeping me usually #1 in the US sometimes close to that world wide. I have some reading to do to catch up. Again Thank you. Steve KD2OM

Thank you for your support John. I will go through the procedure. Strangely on the other kiwi's that upgraded fine, I can't log in via port 22 ssh using the serial number which the admin page shows.
-
sd card? I don't remember doing that when I initially installed or will that be required because I can't login to root?
-
I left it as the serial number and recorded it but just can't remember where I recorded it. It is not very difficult to reload it so that is probably best route. Steve
-
I can ssh to it but of course don't know the password, I need to label the cases I guess. Perhaps the only solution is to reload the system? Would opening a port for you help?

John, It is accessible from the internet. www.ecsykes.com:8076 Steve

Yes Powernumpty, it was already forwarded. The issue was that for some reason the radio couldn't get the public ip address from the router. I set the network to static now Public IP is filled in. When I asked for upgrade if found it. After the upgra…

John I figured that it was something I have done but it is configured exactly like the other two Kiwi's I have. I have matched each page, I will check again. 73 Steve KD2OM

http://forum.kiwisdr.com/uploads/185/8DSR2H2UCNQA.png I imagine this has something to do with it.

Yes because I am running wsprdaemon. I have rebooted and now I can access the receiver with my phone so you should be able to see it now.

Yes, http://www.ecsykes.com:8076

I use the receiver protectors from CrossCountry Wireless on my three KiwiSDR's and routinely transmit at the 100 watt level.

I just got a new kiwiSDR and BBAI. I have followed the instructions to install and update but am getting a failure. The kiwiSDR starts up then fails with a kernel panic SYS_PANIC: "fopen Makefile.1" No such file or directory (net/update…

Thanks John, I appreciate the rapid response. I will close the port now.

I certainly can open it. It is open now. 69.207.172.82:22 I didn't see page two, my bad. I guess I can just install clang using apt, but will wait for john to look at it.

I ran through the instructions a couple time and I still get this: (Image) Any ideas? Steve KD2OM
