ChrisSmolinski: Many thanks for the detailed reply and suggestions. I will certainly try what you have suggested. There have been some amazing replies to my post on this forum. Thank you again to everyone. Curt | W9SPY

Bjarne: That will not be possible, as they took away all of the old router's stuff, including the power supply.
-
ka7oei: Thank you for your reply and for suggesting the DX Engineering Ethernet isolators. I may give those a try. Powernumpty: I have tried snap-ons already, with no luck. But thank you. Everyone: I forgot to mention that the router involved her…

n6gn: I'm not nearly tech savvy enough to understand or implement much of what you have suggested, but I thank you all the same. For me, 2+2=4 in this case, as in, before I changed out the router, everything worked fine. I am knowledgeable enough …

Forgot to push the autoscale button on the last image. Here is is again.

I rebooted the router. I don't know how to post a picture here. But I have attached is a screenshot of the entire waterfall, with spectrum display enabled using the "Attach a file" option below. (I hope this is what you meant, and thank yo…

That worked. Thank you. How can I send you some gold bullion?

OK, then I don't know what the problem is. I can connect via local IP but not by my public address: strangebeacons.proxy.kiwisdr.com:8073
-
Brendan_W: Your Comcast/Xfinity fix above didn't work for me. I disabled security, and set up a port forward for 8073 and my KiwiSDR still will not show up for the public. I have learned that people who have complained to Xfinity about this same pro…
-
jks: No, I have already disabled the security feature and the Kiwi still will not load for public viewing. They have effectively stopped allowing any kind of port forwarding. And people who have complained to Xfinity about this same problem are bein…

Ah, yes, I saw the immediate log changes. Thank you.
-
Thank you for sending out this alert. For your records, I have not noticed any problems connecting to my KiwiSDR via your proxy service. (Located in Naples, Florida, United States).
-
Update: After much additional hair-pulling, I finally figured out what the problem was. It was browser cookie-related involving my use of CCleaner to store only the cookies locally that I choose. I had earlier setup CCleaner to NOT delete the cook…

Thank you for the link. And, my Kiwi is now back online.
-
Thanks for your reply. I can't find that post. Would you supply a link? Or, can you just tell me what it is about?
-
And I wish that this extension was included in the Kiwi proper.
-
Update: I restarted the Kiwi server, rebooted the Beagle, rebooted my computer and cleared my Chrome browser cache. I tried loading up the proxy URL again and it still would not work. However, after all of that, when I checked it again about five mi…

Update: I found the fix. I had updated all of the location data in every tab except for the SDR.hu tab. I entered in the new information and it now appears on the map.
-
Bjarne: Yes, I updated the grid square, lat/longs, elevation, address.
-
Powernumpty: Thanks for your reply, and yes, I anticipate the IP address change in the website setup page. I'm keeping the same provider, but only in a different state (Comcast/Xfinity). I think all will go well with the switch, but wanted to try to…

jks: Yes, "Other U/VHF capable devices with web-style interface software" is what I was asking about. I'm primarily a High Frequency user, but have recently gotten into my local amateur radio U/VHF scene. I am interested in a way to listen…

So, from reading this thread, do I understand correctly that there currently is not any kind of KiwiSDR-type unit for tuning the UHF VHF bands?
-
I purchased one of the metal cases and installed it today. It definitely helps to eliminate RFI. Very happy with it!

Recently, I have had several users "camp out" on local AM frequencies during the football season, effectively occupying all four slots for hours at a time. One of them even had multiple tabs open, taking up two slots at once. So I set time…
-
I have discovered that I have the same issue. The only solution that I see available on the Admin page/Control tab is to set the Inactivity time limit to something like an hour or, in my case, two hours. I know that this doesn't answer your centra…

OK, that makes sense. Essentially, my KiwiSDR is working fine, so far as pulling in nice, clear signals is concerned. I understand and appreciate the value of having 100% accurate frequency calibration and timestamp, as so many amateur radio digital…

This is an outstanding feature.
