  • Hi Ron,

It's not listed on the DRM schedule.

However looking at the HFCC Schedules

    And Radio Romania in particular

Only two transmission slots are shown for that frequency.

    Freq From UTC To

    7235 1900 2000 28NW Radio Romania International ROU Deu Tiganesti 44N42 026E06 307 300 1234567 29-Oct-2017 25-Mar-2018
    7235 2000 2100 27S Radio Romania International ROU Spa Tiganesti 44N42 026E06 277 300 1234567 29-Oct-2017 25-Mar-2018

So I think that's your best bet.

    Good Luck,

    Martin,
Thanks for the information. I've scheduled a group to test on your receiver starting tonight. My schedule is UTC-7 so add 7 to see your time for these stations. So I'll hit your receiver fairly hard this evening. Hi Hi  I'll let you know if I have success on this group. I used your info and added some from a search ;http://www.hfcc.org/schedule/ . The Linux crontab puts minutes first and hours 2nd, 24 hour clock. if days and weeks and months are missing, it is every day. I will no doubt modify this tomorrow. Don't worry.

  • Hi Ron (and others),

Feel free to use my 'Private' KiWi, I keep it running for experiments such as this but chose not to publish it to the general radio community.

Most of the time it's using whatever antenna is selected on my 'Public' KiWi.

  • Martin,
Thank you for the available receiver. this morning I find one good recording:
    30 23 * * *  python ~/kiwiclient-jks-v0.1/kiwirecorder.py -s southwest.ddns.net -p 8073 -f 9770.00 -m iq -L -5000 -H 5000 &
    00 00 * * *  for pid in $(ps -ef | awk '/python/ {print $2}'); do kill -9 $pid; done

It titles "Galbeni TX1" and is broadcast in English, so far. Something happened with the French station @ 3955KHz and it shows as an unknown data.

I'll let it run another 24 hours on the new receiver and see what I get. I find I can load these files in Audacity to inspect the audio amplitude prior to running in Dream. This gives me the recording time, which Dream does not, or at least I haven't found a way to determine the length in Dream.

  • Martin,
Once again I find a good recording @ 9770KHz. It is the English broadcast from Galbeni TX1, Romania. It is an excellent recording with excellent audio. I think it starts at 0630 UTC and ends at 0700 UTC.

Fun stuff to work with. I took a screenshot of the Dream receiver working the file.

Got another good download @1900-1930UTC on 7235KHz. Excellent reception SNR Tigansti E1 in stereo.

So this is enough testing for me. I'll quit reporting the results. Hi Hi
