GPS Antenna for multiple kiwis
I now have 2 kiwis. Is the GPS antenna an active antenna? I'm wondering if I can just split one antenna to both kiwis?

The antenna is active. There are passive and active GPS splitters, mine work well with an active one.
With a passive splitter, the signal might be too low. And you potentially need to take care to not backfeed the 5V bias to the other kiwi, although I don't know if that would be a problem.
Could probably bias it with one kiwi and use an AC-coupled splitter to the other -- however it might just be easier to deploy two GPS antennas. They are pretty small...
