Kiwi halts in browser after a few minutes if its browser tab isn't in view

As the title says, I open my kiwi in chrome but then open another tab for other stuff. The kiwi will halt and I'll need to log in again. This happens when accessing locally or thru internet

What might be doing this?

    I dunno. Works fine for me. Chrome version 123.0.6312.107 (Official Build) (arm64)

    Try disabling all plugins/extensions and see if anything changes.

    But seriously. It's 2024. Stop using Chrome. It's a dumpster fire.
