The problem is that a lot of recent network hardware doesn't support 10M anymore. It's 100M/1G only. So if I defaulted to 10M there might be problems with the Kiwi appearing to be dead to the network.
OTOH, maybe a "smarter" algorithm could be employed where if a successful connection to the Internet is made (e.g. 1.1.1.1 pingable) then a down-shift to 10M could be attempted in conjunction with another ping check.
That's an interesting idea actually. Let me see if I can prototype that..
