feature request, Storage of session settings.

Hello,

first of all, thanks for this great piece of work!

I'm using the kiwi in my local net for monitoring HF with several pc. Therfore it's a bit painful to have to click all settings again and again. So I would like to suggest some more session parameters to be stored:

  • Audio muted
  • Spectrum on
  • click to open webrx... clicked once.

Best, Frank

    Audio muted

Not a good idea. Would result in the forum, and my inbox, filling up with people asking "why is there no audio"? However, if you are accessing the site via a bookmark add "?mute" / "&mute" to the URL to start with the audio muted. This should work for "home screen" icons on iPhones etc. I.e. kiwi:8073/?mute

    Spectrum on

Maybe. There is a URL parameter to start with the spectrum open sp: kiwi:8073/?mute&sp

The full list of URL parameters: http://kiwisdr.com/quickstart/index.html#id-user-tune

click to open webrx... clicked once.

I can't disable this. It's a requirement of all browsers now (anti audio/video autoplay). But you can disable it per-website in your browser settings. Which is not optimal if you visit a lot of different sites randomly instead of a small number of fixed sites repeatedly.

  • Thanks a lot. It works out of the box.

I will go to study id-user-tune.

All the best and have a comfortable sunday.

    Frank
