TDoA errors causing accidental ip bans on kiwisdr.com [fixed]
Just now fixed. But your access to kiwisdr.com might have been automatically banned if you used the TDoA extension (on any Kiwi, anywhere) under certain failure conditions. This would have been a ban of the public ip address associated with your browser, not of any of the Kiwis involved.
We had to tighten up the ip ban rules recently after kiwisdr.com came under increased ip scanning attack because it negatively effected the proxy service. It turns out the TDoA extension can trip a ban rule under certain circumstances. The ban rule has been altered slightly.
If you are having problems accessing kiwisdr.com, or no Kiwi hosts or reference stations appear in the TDoA extension, please email support@kiwisdr.com (unless you're hosting your own email server your email should get through). Apologies for this inconvenience.
