Thank you. I didn't noticed that it has been already mentioned.

@jks GPS does not work to my Kiwi in both cases - with the antenna came from the seller and with an extension as well. 5V are for sure comming out from the GPS antenna's socket. It's for good that I can manually calibrate the frequency.I've sent you …

The same with my Kiwi, some months ago. I've sent it to the seller, but no luck. They've told me that the GPS and the BeagleBone were ok and they sent it back, but GPS never worked again, although I've changed 3-4 antennas.

Extremely Good!!!!!!!Congratulations and a Happy New Year!

Please continue to improve the NB and eventually built a Noise Reduction. I think that this is a very basic option to every receiver, which can make the difference.Suppressing noise level will immediately improve S/N ratio, something that everyone i…

At last a Noise Blanker is added! It is working good enough for common noise.

Please allow me to post a new video with DRM receiving, using SoDiRa.The station received is Radio France Internationale (3.965 KHz) and the receiver is http://hainaut-picardie.ddns.net:8073/?f=3965.00iqz8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-qROxX…

OK, here is the video I've promised. I don't know how long will be stay on YouTube, because of copyright rules, but I hope long enough to see and hear it.The station is the same above, but I'll post in the future another, with my equipments. https:/…

Well, I've received C-Quam stereo AM with SODIRA and Kiwi iq, but after your answer I thought that it was maybe a "pseudo" effect, although I am sure that I could hear a stereo signal and led in SoDiRa was locked to "Stereo". Un…

o.k. you are probably right. You can delete the post.

Great idea!

Here there are four virtual cables, but you can setup only one:VAC can be downloaded here: http://software.muzychenko.net/eng/vac.htm
-
The same steps if you need to route Kiwi's audio to another decoder, for other modes.
-
There isn't such an option to VAC for Windows. The only way to decode without hearing the DRM undecoded signal is to define as default audio output to the pc the "Virtual Cable" (so to mute the speakers) and then:Settings -> Sound Card …

It is working with VAC and Windows, but I can hear both decoded and non decoded signals. Can someone publish his settings or maybe describe the whole procedure?

@roach Nothing else but a new RG58 coaxial, with new BNC connectors and new BNC/SMA adaptor. Take care of the BNC to Head Amp of the loop, to be well waterproof. I guess what could happen is that the BNC at the loop end could have got damp with con…

Having a very similar setup (Wellbrook ALA1530LNP + KiwiSDR), I faced a "whole HF band" noise. suddenly, some weeks before. I've changed the antenna with an inverted L one, and no noise has appeared. After communicating with Andrew Ikin, t…

What about "Soundflower", that seems to act like Virtual Audio Cable for Windows - https://www.fluxforge.com/blog/soundflower-os-x-10.11-10.12-macOS-sierra/ You can also check here: https://soundflower.en.softonic.com/mac

Thank you Martin! I'll apply something like this.
-
OK, I can see it, thank you!.As I understood, the point is that the receiver has to be free from listeners, for the update to be downloaded, installed and then to restart the local server, and maybe this is the problem for some receivers that they a…

"Daily Restart" has not restarted the Kiwi.I'm waiting now for the next update to see if it will be auto checked and updated. Is it something wrong with my settings?
-
Hi and thank you for the answer,I have already updated to 1.29, before this message (once more manually). Waiting for a new update to come, and then I'll check if auto update is working. Meanwhile, I'll expect today at 02:00 GMT that the server will…

Thank you very much for the advice. The problem is a typical one of pulse and/or line noise, that almost everyone can hear when he lives in urban areas. This kind of noise can be handled with internal NB filters that ham equipments use, or with soft…

They don't use military equipment, but conventional radio-amateur tranceivers, not "locked" for transmit to (only) ham bands. Many operators in upper MW band (1620-1750) use home-made transmitters, although the majority use professional exc…
