Does it mean that I can happily stay on 1.690 for a while?
-
No wonder you don't want any pre-1.690 visible publicly.

Have a toothpick ready. Power up while holding down the boot button. I had to do this when I did the debian 8to11 upgrade.
-
I think the mouse wheel should only be for zooming in and out of the waterfall, and using it for tuning is rather unnecessary. In my use case, I just develop the habit of accurate button mushing / holding.

I would never give up on such a wonderful piece of equipment. Like what jks just said, re-flash the Kiwi1 with Debian 11.9, use the hold-down-the-boot-button-before-power-up trick.

If KCBS were to broadcast silence in DRM, the last MSC box would have turned green, but it remained red throughout in this video. Therefore, the decode wasn't successful at all. Could this mean that they wasted electricity on something no one could …

Is it okay if I create the SD card by downloading the .img.xz and write onto an sd card with dd (after decompressing it into .img of course)? I am running AntiX 23 (a Debian-based distro) here.
-
John, would you recommend overwriting the original supplied SD card with this new (Debian 10) image?
-
There is the "DX EiBi database" feature built-in. Right-click at the frequency bar and you'll see it.
-
Use alt+right arrow if it is easier. Create DX labels for the CB channels you would like to tune to. This is the one-click solution you can have.
-
Text box is working. Thank you.

http://kiwisdr.com/quickstart/#id-user-tune Maybe you would find this useful. The Users tab shows other listeners by this format already.

Is the serial number chronological? Can I tell its date of manufacture from the serial number?
-
>Any way to get completely rid of the waterfall? Use the /?no_wf URL suffix. The FFT would be displayed instead.

The HFDL decoder in 1.546 no longer has the stations and the bands drop-down menus. They were present in 1.544. I am missing those. Rather than starting a new topic, maybe I could just say it here.
