TJ just tested another screen reader and had no problems finding the functions there, so perhaps it's not the program's fault anyway.

Too bad it totally blocks MF WSPR... I had Russia suspected ever since I detected the signals. I can always tell when their aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov is at sea, because they switch on a couple of NDBs on MW with excellent signals.

VU3KTB, yes we all know that, no explenations needed. My question was if it could be possible to add a pre-recording buffer to the audio recording.
-
I think a pause function would tear up the logic behind the time-stamped file name. Better then to start a new recording. And speaking of time-stamp - maybe the buffer should be reflected into the file name. So if there is a 10-second buffer, the ti…

New icon scheme is approved :-)

Recording works fine, and the detailed file name scheme is very good. Only I'd assume a "record" button (red dot) would be more intuitive than a "play" button.

Fascinating to find out who they are? I don't think so. I fact, if there had been a way to anonymize my users from public view, I would have done that. There is too much transparency on the internet, not too little. Bjarne Mjelde arcticdx.blogspot…

Well, yes. Blue LEDs appear to be more "intrusive" than other colours, but everyone seem to want to use them these days.

Thanks John. I've had it run a few hours now without the fan, and it seemed to get only hand warm. I later did place it vertically as you suggested, and in that position the box actually cooled off to near-fan temperature. An added benefit is that t…

Yep...not much I can do from here. Thanks for your time and help, John.

I don't know when I pinged, because I'm on remote. But I'm certain the ethernet lights were dark when I was at the location.
-
Ah...how could I overlook that! They didn't. I pinged the Kiwi IP address and no response.
-
Do the LEDs indicate anything?
-
It uses the proxy you set up back in the day. I had to leave the location so I am not near the receiver
-
I know how you feel Ken, if you're at level zero at networking. I've been there myself and I'm still far from comfortable with network issues. The proxy server solved my problems with the KongSDR, and has been working 100 %. There is no KiwiSDR for …

Collected my enclosure today and will assemble tomorrow. It is now out of stock at Seeed. Bjarne Mjeldearcticdx.blogspot.com

Page layout is better too. Thanks!

Thanks John!

With a max bandwidth of 11956 Hz in AMN, shouldn't it be possible to port the audio to the Dream DRM decoder?
-
Good point John.
-
OK, thanks. Could it be made possible to exclude certain IP addresses from the time limit? I have donators who I'd like to give unlimited access. Regards,Bjarne

Re. the IP address time limit: Is the user given a message why he's kicked out?

The FX is a different beast, requires 5-15V while the whip requires 12-15V. Or so say the specs.
-
Lothar, in addition to the resources on this forum, please check out the Quickstart as well. I think you will find a power to suit you well. The Boni Whip needs 12-15VDC it seems. Linear 12VDC supplies should be a lot easier to find than 5V supplies…

I got a response from Andras this afternoon. He says he's changed the sorting algorithm (and my Kiwi jumped multiple places so it must be a good one!), and he's planning to implement features like sorting on geographical area. So we'll see, but as h…

Thanks Peter, you're definitely on the right track. I've taken the liberty of putting your link at the Status field of my Kiwi. Bjarne

A valid point, linkfanel. But the list is what you will look at first, and if the voting system gives no added value for the user, why not change how the list is presented. But somebody's got to do it, and if your main occupation is elsewhere, as Jo…

Yes, but isn't rx.linkfanel.net the same as the map on sdr.hu?
-
Actually I sent an email to Andras and suggested they be sorted geographically. If anyone here agrees, maybe more people should send a similar request. Bjarne
