S/n 4340. Quite impressive! As usual I did a sensitivity measurement, and ended up at around -102 dBm on MW and LW (AM, 6 kHz bw, 400 hz 30% modulated signal). The Mayor has promised fiber this summer (it's local elections the coming autumn), so if he keeps his word I will have two Kiwis available, with antennas directed towards North America and towards Asia/Pacific.

I'm not using the switch with my Kiwi, I ordered it to be able to switch beverages at my KONG DX-ped site. I did a write-up at the time, then today I noticed that I may not be able to use it after all. The issue is noise. Now, the level is very low, so most likely few if any need to consider the noise level for their own setup. The FX is a different beast, requires 5-15V while the whip requires 12-15V. Or so say the specs.

Recording works fine, and the detailed file name scheme is very good. Only I'd assume a "record" button (red dot) would be more intuitive than a "play" button.

I ordered...two! No problems at checkout. I've bought a bit at Mouser and they are excellent to deal with.

Yes, that they keep it UK only is their own choice, I just commented to save non-UK members the trouble to look it up.

It may seem like a silly question to ask, but is the GPS antenna facing the sky? Like being positioned outside? For comparison, mine hangs in the antenna wire just outside the window, probably far from ideal, but the attachment shows what it looks like here.
