v1.614: admin console improvements
From the CHANGE_LOG file:
v1.612,613,614 July 5, 2023
Admin console improvements:
Can now paste from system clipboard into console (e.g. shell or text editor).
Mac: Use the usual command-v key.
Windows: Use the usual control-v, but type it twice in quick succession. This is because
control-v is used by the "nano" text editor for "page down". So there needs to be a
way for a control-v to get through that is not interpreted as a system paste. And this
is accomplished by typing control-v once, instead of twice, within a small time window.
The bottom line of the admin console tab displays a summary of these changes.
Many fixes to the ANSI command interpreter. This makes full screen programs like htop
(alias 'ht') and text editors work much better.
ALE-2G extension: Test function runs every 4 hours as a workaround to prevent scanning lockup.

Hi John.
Has anyone else reported audio underruns/waterfall stalling/Qlen jumping to 6 for about 2-3 seconds when trying to save/update presets, since the last update?
I have noticed this is the case since [at least] the latest update, even when no other users are connected and no recording is in progress. Today was the first day I've tried adding a preset in ~2 weeks, so I'm not sure which version this started happening on. I know I did not have this issue on v1.603, though.
I had made no config changes before this started happening. DX admin page does not report any errors in any presets.
My Kiwi is running on a BeagleBone Green, if that matters at all. I tried rebooting it (the BBG itself) to no avail.
My connection to the Kiwi is via LAN, using Firefox, and I notice no other performance issues other than when trying to save presets.
Here are a few log snippets:
Any ideas?
Yeah, I see what's happening. Fix soon..
Nice.
Thank you, Sir.
As for the ALE-2G extension I can report that with the added Test function running periodically in v1.614 long monitoring sessions are now possible.
Whereas previously the detections of ALE signals would hang after around 10-14 hours I now have a scan running for 27 hours and counting. Thanks for this addition.
Audio glitch problem should be fixed in the v1.616 update.
Yes, just tested, John. It's working great again. Thanks for knocking that out.
