If you use SSH connection you can reinstall KiwiSDR with this commands: sudo su cdp && mst && cd mv Beagle_SDR_GPS B.BAD gclone Beagle_SDR_GPS cdp make clean && make && make install ku then delete old filder files cd…

Use Putty (or preferred SSH client) for connect to KiwiSDR via SSH, don't use web console!
-
Hi, you can try use update script sudo su cdp ./up or via git command ...
-
Hi, you can copy your config files via WinSCP to user (debian) profile folder, then login to KiwiSDR via SSH and move or copy it to root folder after "sudo su" sudo su cp /home/debian/<kiwsdrconfig_backup_folder>/ /root/kiwi.config/ …

Hi, if you try to open URL http://<Kiwisdr_IP_local>:8073/admin you have same error? How you assign IP address on your network (DHCP or static)? You have same network mask on both devices? If you try ping host kiwisdr.local what IP address you…

Maybe easy re-flash your BBG from new image from QS http://kiwisdr.com/quickstart/#id-dload? Debian 10 should work fine.
-
Ok, I think you can get full info and answers on the official QuickStart guide: http://kiwisdr.com/quickstart/#id-net-mdns
-
Have you checked the log file for your KiwiSDR? sudo cat /var/log/syslog | grep kiwid Post this command output.

@jks Thank you John, now v.1.547 start without any problems: 05:47:55 kiwid[26105]: BBAI Debian 10.11 USE_SPIDEV 05:47:55 kiwid[26105]: Starting kiwid 05:47:55 kiwid[26105]: BBAI uses custom Kiwi device tree loaded via U-boot 05:47:56 kiwid[26105]:…

With D9 kiwid works without problems, I wrote about D10 & BBAI. On my previous message I posted logs from same BBAI board with same D10 OS but different KiwiSDR version.
-
Interesting BBAI & Debian 10 works good with 1.539 KiwiSDR version but generate panic error with modern version KiwiSDR. @jks Maybe have any way to fix this problem? v. 1.547 22:58:36 kiwid[8501]: BBAI Debian 10.11 USE_SPIDEV 22:58:36 kiwid[85…

@ok1iak momentarily pressing PWR_BUT generate interrupt and BBG/BBB will shutdown cleanly, if you press and hold this button for 8 sec will turn off all power rails on the TPS65217 (this not cleanly shutdown) like on PC.
-
Hi @ok1iak, I think you can use PWR_BUT from BBG GPIO (PIN 09) to add a hardware power button for shutdown your KiwiSDR and it will be don't difficult implementation.
-
Hi @W1RC of cours KiwiSDR work without GPS antenna, but some feature like TDoA or correction of ADC clock cannot be used. If you don't connect antenna to your KiwiSDR disable all satilite networks (Navstar, QZSS, Galileo) on the Admin - GPS tab.

Fantastic! Thanks @jks !

This effect is independent of the OS (tested on Win 10/11, MacOS, Linux) somthing on KiwiSDR code. I asked other users and everyone knows about this feature, it's strange that it was not mentioned earlier on the forum (or I did not find it)... I cap…
-
@Powernumpty No, KiwiSDR always start play from 1000kHz AM and if it's clean you hear only difrent noise level, but now (on the evneng) in the Europian Russia this frecuncy occupaid by "Radio Russia" and you can hear good audio before swit…

@fabrys if you want add 1 ip address use /32 (example 140.82.23.11/32) and type Enter key after add new addresses to your Blacklist. After you are finish adding the new IP - go to the Log tab, you should see the iptables reload: https://forum.kiwis…
-
@WA2ZKD I think I just got lucky, tried it on the current Debian version and got the same problem.
-
Yes, I think it's a bad idea to do this directly on KiwiSDR, but If you have a lot KiwiSDR in different places you come to idea for use a personal reverse proxy server and use it for management some common feature like blacklist. 😀
-
@WA2ZKD it's very simple bash script: #!/bin/bash ipset -N kiwiblacknets nethash wget -q http://kiwisdr.com/ip_blacklist/ip_blacklist2.cjson -O - | grep -o '".*"' | sed 's/"//g' | while read NET do ipset -A kiwiblacknets $NET done and…
-
I'm download common blacklist in crontab task and then add IP addresses to IPSET with DROP action in IPTABLE. And I don't do this on every KiwiSDR, but on my frp server.
-
@mikegassman I'm not sure, but look like problem with you browser custom settings and it was restoring from backup, try reset Safari's Experimental Features
-
Interesting, I'm upgraded iPad iOS to 15.4, repeat test in Chrome for http://msk.swl.su:8073 and have audio... @mikegassman can you test other ISP, - switching between wi-fi and lte/5g? You say about KiwiSDR's volume slider on the Audio tab? https:/…
-
@jks Yes, I was test my msk.swl.su:8073 after update from my home IP and from VPN (tried only connected to KiwiSDR and received on 80m HAM band, don't open any extensions), but saw TDoA from both IP (sorry, but don't save second screenshot)... May b…
