So v1.674 now uses a curl -L to upload spots with the WSPR extension (same as WSPR autorun does). I'd be interested to know if this solves your Nginx https redirect problem.

@drb This problem may be solved in the current releases. I'd be interested to know if it works for you now. I had a customer with a trashed clone I was trying to rebuild. And just using the gclone alias on an ssh connection was timing out. After a l…

Has anyone seen the uncommanded 26 dB signal drop problem in recent software releases where I have additional debugging prints enabled? I'd sure like to find this problem if it still exists. Thank you

If you have suggestions for the users tab let me know. It's not easy to do everything people have suggested. But it never hurts to ask so I can think about it at least. I have some ideas of my own..

Okay, I see what's wrong. Fixed for the next release..

No, let me try it here and see for myself.

The Kiwi web server does not support serving uncompressed js content. The files are only stored minimized, concatenated and gzipped to save space since they are served directly out of main memory to meet the realtime requirements of the server (i.e.…

A bit of a long story. But the WSPR was the first one developed way back in 2016. And at the time I didn't know how to upload spots from C code using curl. So instead I used the iframe hack to do a cross-domain GET. Of course years later when autoru…

Unfortunately I am way, way behind on the documentation. I'll describe briefly here: Aperture mode: When in auto it tries to adjust the waterfall WF max/min sliders automatically to give an optimal colormap setting. The algorithm actually needs impr…

Yes, the syntax Martin gives, which is the general way to invoke an extension when a label is clicked, will still work for the antenna switch even though it is no long actually a formal extension.

My fault for using such long filenames I suppose. But you've got a typo in the filename. You're missing the BBG_BBB part.

Eh, I forgot. Uploads are done differently for the web-based WSPR decoder versus the autorun version. And the debug option only applies to autorun uploads. But I just tried it with autorun and noticed that wsprnet.org is not currently returning spot…

On the admin page, extensions tab, WSPR sub-tab, turn on the "Log spot debug info" option. A message in the log may give you a clue why wsprnet.org is not uploading your spots.

Ah, okay, I see what the issue is. I need to be disabling the admin RF attn slider for Kiwi-1. Thanks for pointing this out.

On a Kiwi-1? That I would like to see. Is this Kiwi accessible from the Internet?

Yes, the overlapping bars are not the problem (as long as the color blending doesn't look too bad). It's just the text collision (overlapping) as you zoom in.
-
I tried a couple of times to fix the problem: The text from overlapping band bars can collide as you zoom in certain situations. Overlapping bars is not really a problem. It's just the text conflict. I couldn't come up with a good algorithm to fit i…

Orders through #1497 were shipped yesterday. Not too many left before we're done shipping build #3.

Okay, so to use your custom device you are just using the standard Snaptekk script. I somehow had the impression you were using a modified one based on the Snaptekk script that would require the changes I am making now. I hope to have a Kiwi release…

ML&S and WiMo will only be selling the complete units. We're not sure when the 4th build might happen (the next opportunity for you to get the cape-only product). As usual there are some parts availability issues to be worked out.

You did not respond to my question, if the IP address entry on the admin/extensions/antennaswitch-tab is meant to be used for changing the IP address the Kiwi expects to connect to the switch. It seems to me that any entry on this field is not getti…

So you have your own custom backend script derived from the snaptekk switch script? It looks like the integrated snaptekk script has a typo. So check if this typo carried over to your script or not: echo "SNAPTEKK_URL=\"$url\"&quo…

@DF3LZ Roland, if you can open the ssh port (22) through your router so I can connect to your Kiwi-1 Beagle/Linux then I can probably fix it. Happy to do that. But it requires that you connect to your router and create a port 22 mapping from the In…

So this was a very interesting and important problem that is now understood (and fixed in the next release). I did not realize this, but the curl timing defaults used by the git command cause a timeout failure if you have a slow Internet connection.…

Orders through and including #1455 were shipped (assigned tracking at least) on Thu April 18 (Wed April 17 in Europe/NA). We're spending a few days now shipping units to distributors. Back to shipping customer units early next week. Compared to the …

I can't follow this conversation. Too much missing and conflicting information. And I'm drowning in other more important problems. This is what you must do before we even talk about sending it back: Take the short SMA-M to SMA-M cable that came with…

Okay, fixed. Will be in the next release. Thanks guys.

Which antenna switch backend? GPIO?
