in the past when I experienced such, I'd remove the BB from the Kiwi and see if the BB could be coaxed to life on its own.. sometimes you'll need to use a Debian image to test it on it's own. I had a number of BBG left over from Kiwi's that I upgra…

Have you tried to DF it to see which neighbor may be radiating that?
-
Peter, Which model Meanwell was used for that plot?
-
I use Meanwell MDR-60-5 and believe them to be clean. CUI EMC-20 filters are also effective if the above is an issue Both are relatively inexpensive

Amazon has 5.5mm-F to USB-C male adapters X002BGA8XL

look at the MWBC on jimlill.com:8073 I have 3 notch filters on there on 1280, 950, 1370.... not much impact on the rest of the band. It will be full after sunset here in 4 hours
-
To the best of my knowlege -r never worked right in kiwirecorder. At best, it would do integer math. There may be more to this puzzle than kiwirecorder. Which kiwi system are you sourcing the wav file from? -Jim
-
a simple MW notch filter for one station will do little to impact the rest of the band.
-
kiwirecorder resampler does not work as it should due to an issue with the related python libarary AFAIK. I pipe through sox to get what I want.

https://forum.kiwisdr.com/uploads/782/W2252BH65BF8.png jimlill.com:8073 and jimlill.com:8075 are 2 of the 4 kiwisdr there. The other 2 are dedicated to wspr. I am currently suffering from some local noise that I haven't had time to chase.

both sox and soxi are useful tools for working on this kind of thing. Although sox started life as a Linux tool, there are MS and Mac versions of it. https://sourceforge.net/projects/sox/files/sox/14.4.2/

The addition of MMSSTV would be great but we have come to rely on John to do the majority of the heavy lifting on both Kiwi hardware and software. It would seem like extensions is an area where you smart programmers might be able to contribute. It i…

per Christoph as of today "The python libsamplerate module is broken"
-
I tried the -r earlier this year and founf that python didn't do it right. I ended up piping through sox . Has the Python thing been verified to be fixed?
-
are your neighbors ameniable to adding something to their radiating systems?
-
DIN barrels are available with "green" terminals too!
-
The DIN barrel connector is pretty popular across a number of devices. John, have you found issues? The only thing I have is that if you pick a PSU with USB, it's 5V a DIN barrel might be anything
-
how about falling back to last IP assignment rather than the default which might catch a lot of the occasional issues

congrats and <applause>

How does any SNR test differentiate a "real" signal from a spurious carrier?

In the last few days, a Solar energetic particle (SEP) event seems to have more impact on HF than the X-Ray flares. The X-rays get here in about 8 minutes 20 secs, The fastest particles may acheive 80% of that speed. X-Ray events are rather transien…

all the raw data for "years" is available on that site if you would like to see how it aligns. It takes some digging! this is one of the places https://services.swpc.noaa.gov/json/goes/primary/xray-flares-latest.json

perhaps worth a look https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/products/d-region-absorption-predictions-d-rap

see this for your AM demod https://github.com/ha7ilm/csdr

there's been both elevated X-Ray flare and Proton Flux levels. The latter hasn't been occurring as often as the X-flares. Both are bad!

I have done a lot with kiwirecorder and I/Q wav files so I know that works. I have just not used your exact cli string I used ./kiwirecorder.py -k 5 -s $1 -p 8073 -f $2 -m iq -L 300 -H 3600 --ncomp --tlimit=$3 with $1 $2 $3 added on cli

You can explore this site but I'll bet there'll be nothing with records to this https://apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/GenericSearch.cfm

I'd like to offer DRM and 20.25 on one of my public kiwis so if users want "narrow DRM" there it could then work
