I have used the notch method on various HF sites I manage, not just Kiwi. Takes very few parts.
-
I find that after hours of FT8, it sometimes decides it's on a new freq 0.00, audio underruns and dies. Memory leak??

An interesting resource https://feodotracker.abuse.ch/blocklist/

that's not so dumb... I see it can do VLAN so it can also do some interport routing...

what happens with local connections (on the LAN)

HF traders use some tokenized data scheme and a lot of FEC
-
a few of us use a variant of these. They used to be on eBay for <$75 https://www.pctel.com/antenna-product/gps-timing-reference-antenna-2/ but that feeds multiple Kiwi through splitters. One of these would suffice for you https://www.ebay.com/itm…

My ham experience with FM dates back to when hams used things like the Motorola 41V and deviation was 15 KHz ! :-)
-
from the wiki: The most common FM transmitting applications use peak deviations of +/-75 kHz (100 or 200 kHz spacing), +/-5 kHz (15–25 kHz spacing), +/-2.5 kHz (3.75-12.5 kHz spacing), and +/-2 kHz (8.33 kHz spacing, 7.5 kHz spacing, 6.25 kHz spacin…

awk '{print substr($1,13)}' is another way to pull out values etc.
-
tried those, still OK
-
I use gnuplot to create that... let's chat on e-mail
-
Andy, I sent you mail..
-
do you have an LPF that cuts off at 2MHz or so? That would elimnate the L and MW as poential sources as a test.

I use Chrome in Linux exclusively and do not see this. Linux Mint

yes Martin, I was going to say the same about powered iron vs. ferrite
-
don't overlook possible radiation from the mains input... ferrite there may help too.
