I was just sitting here, thinking about how truly GLAD I am that I bought this unit. :) It was definitely one of the best $250 (incl shipping) I've ever spent. :) These updates are just a part of that. Compared to every other WEBSDR I have tried, th…

OH! OH! I LOVE the USERS tab on the Admin page! A thousand THANK YOUS! :) Cool beans! I'm a kid with a new toy! LOL! My unit just did the update a few mins ago, because (oops) somehow, I knocked the power cord out the other day, and wasn't aware of …

OK, so what is the storage limit of the internal log file? Obviously, it, too, has a limit to prevent devouring space and crashing the unit. :) Parallel story: Unbeknownst to me, for a couple days, I had a bad printer driver on my Linux PC. When it…

I'm still confused... the Admin log tab shows a truncated log. About half way down, it has a yellow line that says ----- xx Lines Not Shown ----- So when a Makefile command is used... is it searching the WHOLE log, or only searching the one with the…

Oh, I'm not anywhere near THAT proficient in Linux. ;) I appreciate that this functionality is available at all. :) But I still wonder... is it searching the entire log, or only the truncated version that shows on the Admin page? :)

It took me a while to get a ROUND TUIT, but I finally just tinkered with this. Interesting. It takes several seconds to return any text. Is it searching the ENTIRE LOG, or only searching the truncated version that is visible on the Admin page? Ideal…

OK, I just found out about this in the AM Stereo discussion Group on Facebook. Is this basically just a more modern remake of the existing Kiwi? Or will it have increased capabilities, like more wideband receivers, etc? :)

Oh, good! THANK YOU for fixing the "Add" button... I was wondering why I couldn't add a new dx label. Now it works. :)

I have some Linux knowledge. I switched to Mint a few years ago, abandoning Windows almost entirely. I'll have to check this out. :)
-
OK, how do I access the other log? I just want to see how often a few of my friends are logging in and listening. :) Thanks! :)

Back when I purchased my Kiwi, I decided I wanted the quietest power supply possible... so I built my own! :) It's 100% linear/analog, dual regulated. It has an AC input filter. The 16V from the transformer is regulated down to 12, which is further …

I just discovered that my log is being completely overwritten with these lines, over and over: Sun Apr 16 00:19:24 00:36:36.961 ... WSPR autorun: reporter callsign and grid square fields must be entered on WSPR section of admin page Sun Apr 16…

Just a big KUDOS on the mouse wheel scroll for bandwidth! :) LOVE IT!!!

I just discovered the AFO A/B moments ago! :D Awesomeness! I already have a use for it, too! The recent frequency list is also McNifty!! I like when GOOD "new features" pop up and surprise me like this. :) Nicely done!!

Ah! Ok, thanks for the update! :) It sure had me scratching my head for a bit! ;)

Hmmm... looks like I have a conundrum! I can't get anything beyond 88 for this version of Linux. (Mint 18) So, it looks like a MAJOR upgrade is going to have to happen. :( I only have a handful of plugins, like the one that lets me delete site-speci…

Firefox 88 under Linux. My main desktop computer. No, I haven't tried others, yet... 99% of the time I use the SDR, the Internet, etc, it's from this machine, using Firefox. :) WA2ZKD: Cookies, not cache. I have a "plugin" in Firefox that…

Just a little update: It did the same thing again. Rebooting the computer didn't work, but clearing the cookies did.
-
OK, comment edited... clearing my cookies made my browser happy with the SDR. :)
-
OK. Call me a Monkey's Uncle! :o Restarting the browser did not fix the issue. Deleting all of the cookies for the SDR, did!! THANK YOU! :) It's working perfectly, again! :D (Firefox under Linux.)

OK, I saw that you were on the receiver... any ideas? :)
-
My apologies... I didn't realize that I sent you the WRONG IP! It copied the LOCAL. I just re-sent you an e-mail with the actual Internet IP.
-
I sent you an e-mail. Did it go through? I'm using AOL. No matter what I try, I cannot get SAM working like it used to before the update. BTW, I rebooted the SDR earlier today, because I couldn't select any mode, AM, SAM, etc... it was just "st…

Noise blankers are all off.

I have an idea... my SDR is "semi private", accessed online via my ISP's IP address. I would e-mail it to you, so you can log in an check out what's happening. I don't want to post my IP openly, for obvious reasons. ;)

OK, Channel Null only has 3 settings, and I tried all of them. There is no "OFF" or I would try that. Stronger signals get distorted, VERY strong signals (Over S30) fade out to very low volume & distorted. I tried "med" and &…

Channel nulling? Hmmm... that must be new! I tried turning various pre-emp, noise, etc, on and off. Nothing had any effect. The signals are strong. Some weaker ones also do this. This only started happening after I installed this recent update. I w…

Ah! I'm glad I checked in to the Forum, because I was noticing some errors regarding automatic updates. I concur with the idea of "Binary Only" updates... MUCH easier for end users. :) So far, so good... "update_fix" is running …

For some of the guys complaining about bots logging in and monitoring a specific frequency, this method will fully thwart them! I was very annoyed by a nearly CONSTANT stream of totally un-decodable RTTY at 4005 KHz, so I created the "mask"…

The site isn't so bad, tho! :)
