I used to use PayPal in a small online business I ran, but new government rules here forbade accepting payments via PayPal and I closed my account. Therefore, no PayPal for me. Credit cards work best.

Hi John, I seem to have fixed my not-connecting-to-other-Kiwis problem, but not in a convincing way. I installed NordVPN on my Surface a few weeks ago. I used to use it all the time and just re-installed it, which seems to be when my problems start…

Hi John, Would it be of any help if I ask them to try Ctrl-Shift-J in their browser if/when they can't connect? I checked my browser this morning and can't even find any reference to plug-ins. I assume that means I don't have any. I do have two ex…

Hi John, I'm pretty sure I don't have any plug-ins installed, but I will check. In the last 24 hours I have had a handful of people complain that they can't access my Kiwi either. Ken VE3HLS

Hi John, I still can't open my Kiwi from here. I get that same error when I Ctrl-Shift-J. As I mentioned before, I tried opening a dozen or so random Kiwis via rx.kiwisdr.com. Some went through the KiwiSDR Proxy thing and others were as shown belo…

Thanks guys! I know nothing about programming and even less about Linux. Looks like I stumbled into hostile territory. I'll retreat and continue using the little record button on the control panel. Thanks anyway for the explanation guys! Sorry to…

Same error using Chrome. https://forum.kiwisdr.com/uploads/359/YP6JVUSLRTXH.jpg

Still trying. Now Ctrl-Shift-J doesn't work anymore... Ken VE3HLS

OK, mixed results. First, I tried connecting with Brave and all was OK. Then I tried connecting with chrome and I got the same blank white browser display I had before, with the URL in the address line at the top. I tried Brave again and got the w…

Hi John, I tried from my mobile phone using Chrome and it works Ok with my Kiwi. Haven't tried others. I use Brave browser on my PCs. It seems to be someone's variation on Chrome. I've never heard of an intermediate caching server. Can't help you…

My.kiwisdr.com is still saying no KiwiSDRs at my public ip address. Could that be related to the reverse proxy thing? I'll check tomorrow to see if it has my correct ip address. Would that be the address of our router or the address of the Kiwi i…

Now I see what I did. Dumb mistake. In my defense, there are so many settings in there that I'm unfamiliar with most of them. I've tried to keep quiet about my Kiwi, only letting a few groups know, because I don't want any problems from hackers a…

Just downloaded the Windows version, only it looks like it is for Linux. The README file is full of Linux-type code. Is there a .exe file to run this under Windows? I can't find it. Ken VE3HLS

Hi Martin, Yes, I was connecting through my local network. I don't know if there was something intermittent going on; it seemed to be kicking off as regularly as clockwork. It also took a long time, a minute or more, to get logged back in once the…

This is interesting! I'd be able to switch antennas. Better yet, I could switch attenuators, filters or even downconverters into the antenna line. How do my users control the relays? Are there provisions in KiwiSDR to switch external devices or d…

It seems I'm only getting booted from /admin sessions, and not from listening sessions. I was getting kicked off every 2 minutes or so...

That's exciting news about the KiwiSDR 2! Best of luck with that. I hope you're able to find someone who can assemble them. No rush on the other thing. I seem to be having my own problems with my Kiwi or my network. Can't access it from here... …

Finally got back in. Rebooted the Kiwi Server. Afterward, as soon as it got to the Admin page it booted me out again, to wait for another 60 seconds. This time, when I got back in I rebooted the Beagle. Just waiting for that now... My minute is …

HHmmm...I can't get back to my Admin page after several attempts. Maybe it's doing its automatic reboot now? It's 0327 UTC as I write this, within the 0000 to 0600 window my Kiwi mentions. Will keep trying. BTW, logging on to the Kiwi has become v…

My Kiwi is configured to reboot once a day. A few users were having problems connecting and this fixed it. That said, I will manually reboot it as soon as it lets me back in. Ken

OK, thanks.

Will do John. Just finishing breakfast here and will wander down to the shack after I scrape my teeth! Ken

Thanks John, I don't have anything special configured so it looks like I just need to upgrade to Debian 10. I assume I also have to install the KiwiSDR software on the card as well before I plug in the new one? 73, Ken

https://forum.kiwisdr.com/index.php?p=/discussion/comment/16481#Comment_16481 Sorry, an entry where? I can tell you I definitely haven't clicked any Clear Entry buttons. 73, Ken

https://forum.kiwisdr.com/index.php?p=/discussion/comment/16478#Comment_16478 I have people using my Kiwi on a regular basis. It's setup for outside users. 73, Ken

Is this really necessary? My Kiwi's 6 or 7 years old and has run perfectly fine the whole time. I know zip about Linux and don't understand a word of this code. I'd rather buy an new KiwiSDR and toss this one in the garbage than fight my way thr…

What does it mean when I get this message? I was just using it. It's there. 73, Ken VE3HLS No KiwiSDR(s) found for your public ip address: 134.xxx.xxx.xxx

Ah! I found my way to the Admin page and restarted the Beaglebone and KiwiSDR and all is good now! First troubleshooting I've had to do in the 7 or 8 years I've had my Kiwi! Thank you! Ken, VE3HLS

Hi, The Thailand ISP would be correct. I'm located in northeast Thailand. I occasionally use a VPN on one computer or another but not one associated with the router. I haven't made it public so far, only to users in a few groups.io groups. I suppo…
