If you're using a desktop browser one thing you can do is ask the browser to adjust the page zoom. This works for any web page. The location of this adjustment varies. There are also keyboard shortcuts to do this. For Firefox on a Mac use cmd+ (comm…

Counters of how many times the data pump (FPGA to Beagle) and sound process failed to meet the realtime transfer requirements, i.e. dropped sound data. A statistic mostly for my benefit, as are the other numbers there (and that histogram thing).

This appears to mean a problem in the FPGA initializing process No, that's not what LED #1 double-flashing every second means. That is the standard Debian/Linux heartbeat pattern, i.e. what Debian shows before the Kiwi software starts running (or fa…

The port number can be changed on the admin network tab. SSL works with the Kiwi code. But I have not released it because it is useless without a way to do certificate management across ALL Kiwi deployment scenarios. In particular things like Let'sE…

I ran a bunch of tests and essentially didn't see any problems. I used a Kiwi on the other side of the world from me to add a fair bit of Internet latency and uncertainty to the test. I ran a WSPR in Firefox and FT8 on Chrome (both in extension mode…

I'd be interested to know if Firefox works any better for you or not. I don't use Chrome that much but I'll try some tests here.
-
I tested my fix against Chrome and Firefox and it seemed to fix the issue. And I think I understand the issue pretty well. So hopefully after the next release this won't be a problem.

This question is simply not valid. It doesn't take into account the architectures and evolution of the current Kiwi and owrx systems and how it is not possible to "move" between them. The Kiwi started with some owrx waterfall, sound and us…

Okay. Thanks for being persistent about this. It turns out to be a very nasty timing bug in the code. I started seeing it myself after using Chrome. There must be some slight timing difference between Firefox and Chrome that allows this to occur. I …

That caution message is not a problem. Rather, just a reminder to me that I had to disable some compression the server does because, once again, the behavior of the browsers changed unexpectedly.
-
So there are two things that have to be correctly set before your entry in the freq/mode/zoom field will have an effect. If there are multiple entries for the same band that have different ITU regions you have to change the one that matches the curr…

Okay, that wasn't too difficult. Fix will be in the next release (v1.696). It will be a new file called ~/kiwi.config/opt.console.local

I turns out that setting is essentially bogus. You can override it easily. I didn't think it through carefully enough when implementing it. Even if you're connected as admin from the Internet simply go to the "security" tab and set the swi…

Is your Firefox up to date? Those two messages are shown in yellow (not red) and are warnings only. They are normal.
-
What browser? Try opening the Javascript console in the browser, reloading the page and then trying then extensions menu again. Look for any obvious error messages in the console. Usually highlighted in red. Shortcut keys to open console: Browser //…

You should be able to bring up the "right-click menu" by tapping on the waterfall with two fingers. The DB type can be selected in the menu.

This should not be possible. No, it's working exactly as intended. That "Admin auto-login from local net even if password set?" option exists just for the situation you have: A VPS/VPN/proxy/rev-SSH setup that presents as a local IP addres…

Okay, thanks. It's not difficult to change the frequencies in the future. I just thought it would be good to have a fairly accurate list first time out. Will be in the next release..
-
After looking around I've come up with these frequencies for V/UHF FT8/FT4. Anyone think any differently? FT8: 40680 50310? 50313 50323 70100? 70154 70190 144174 222065 432065? 432174 1296174 FT4: 50318 144150? 144170 Frequencies ending with ? I'm n…

Yes, wsprnet.org stopped sending upload confirmation info some time ago. Really unfortunate as it helped with debugging.
-
Uploads look to be normal from here. You shouldn't be getting that "child task" error though. Not sure what that's about. Try rebooting the Beagle and see if it goes away (admin control tab, Beagle reboot button)

I guess I'll have to try Chrome. I still don't quite understand as I thought this was a problem with recent versions of iOS as opposed to being a browser problem.
-
You can't change the default step sizes for wheel tuning. Like the step sizes assigned to the ---+++ buttons, the sizes vary depending on the band of the current frequency. The "fast" tuning rate is the fastest rate (the outer -+ buttons).…

Thanks for reporting this. It seems the rx4_wf4 FPGA file was incorrectly updated when the v1.692 changes were reapplied in v1.694. But I don't understand why that would of caused this problem. I'll have to go find out. This will be fixed as part of…

That's very odd. My old iPad is a gen 2 running 9.3.5 and this problem never occurs. On Safari or Firefox.

Looks like you don't have an admin password set. So connect to the admin page, select the "security" tab, and enter a password on the field that says "admin password". Then email me that. You're running an ancient version (v1.540…

Hi Fred. Please email your Kiwi admin password to support@kiwisdr.com and I'll fix your Kiwi for you. Set a temporary admin password if you don't want to reveal your everyday admin password.

Hi Martin. Good point. Will do..
