We need much more information. What were you doing when this problem occurred? Were you making changes using the admin page, DX tab interface? If it's not already, is it possible to make this Kiwi accessible from the Internet so I can take a look? Y…

Yeah, there's going to have to be a lot more testing before I make a change like that.
-
In v1.543 you can drag the waterfall in snap mode.
-
Update: seems to be going okay. 3 public Kiwis observed to have auto-updated properly. The next release will include a hash of the current blacklist used in the info reported by a /status inquiry.
-
I'm going to try updating the blacklist today (192.248.158.0/23 and 115.171.128.0/18 will be new). This will be the first live test of the recent auto update mechanism, other than my testing. Let's see if I can crash every Kiwi worldwide that hasn't…

Always good to ask here before spending too much time trying stuff yourself. My stupidity knows no bounds sometimes 🙄

Despite the timestamps I posted before refreshing the page and seeing your edit. So yes, this is a bug. But only under unlikely circumstances. I'll fix it. Don't know if it's worth explaining or not. last_lo/hi are used to save temporary per-mode pa…

What software version? I just tried this with the latest version (v1.542) and it all works fine. Try typing / in the frequency box to reset the current passband to the default (or the keyboard shortcut ctrl-p).

"Snap to nearest" has never been set by any update. As I recall there was some difficulty trying to combine snap with WF dragging. So I disabled it. That matches the behavior of (non-snap) shift-click in the WF (to get nearest-snap action)…

The Kiwi has had keyboard shortcuts for a long time. Type h or ? to see a list of them.

So you can't edit any file loaded by the browser (e.g. *.html, *.css, *.js) and then simply restart the server. It doesn't read those files from the filesystem due to realtime constraints. All of those files are compiled into the server program itse…

Images in first link on this page: https://beagleboard.org/ai-64/press System reference manual: https://git.beagleboard.org/beagleboard/beaglebone-ai-64/-/blob/main/doc/SRM/BeagleBone_AI-64_System_Reference_Manual.adoc Annoying that there is absolut…

I think you're correct. As mentioned in the original thread below I used the frequencies for ISM_6 and ISM_13 as requested by the UK balloon-mobile people. But I see now on the WSPRnet.org page, top left, that they specify a frequency of 13553.9 (di…

Yes, same criteria as software updates. That's why I added it there. And why I had to be so careful testing it (so I didn't break software updates in the process).
-
On restart and same time as the software auto update (works even if software auto update is disabled).

Okay, v1.539 is out which should fix this problem for most Kiwis. Go to rx.kiwisdr.com. Type v1.539 in the search box. You should be able to connect to most every Kiwi running v1.539 because it will have auto updated to a newer blacklist which does …

Just out of curiosity, is this issue something that will be addressed/corrected at some point? Yes, I have a fix almost ready. It will go out as part of the v1.539 update. Probably a few more days. Assuming the Kiwis you are interested in have autom…

Not sure I followed all that completely (it's 4AM and coffee hasn't taken effect yet). But the original 5 minute interval between "building new version..." and "switching to version" is 10x shorter than it should be. At least for…

Well, of course it's the IP blacklist. What else would it be? I don't know why I didn't suspect this sooner. You should be able to get to the kiwisdr.com webpage now. For http://ve3hoa.ddns.net:8074/ we're going to need them to reload their blacklis…

I know what the problem is. You're not going to believe it.. More info soon.

Got it, thanks.

Well, this story just keeps getting worse and worse. I have no email from you. Email to kiwisdr.com does not go through kiwisdr.com the server. Just the people who manage the domain. Try sending me a message here on the forum and just type in the ip…

So when trying to reflash using the Deb 10 image on an sd card you don't even get the start of the "back and forth" pattern in the 4 LEDs? With D10 you might have to hold down the "boot" button on the Beagle while you power up as…

I just looked at the code again and it does restrict photo uploads to the local network as a security precaution. I'm not too keen on changing that. It should be giving a better error message though.
-
Given you can't get to kiwisdr.com using your new ISP I would say you're being allocated a public ip address in a blacklisted ip range that is ignored by kiwisdr.com But that doesn't explain why you can't get to the original Kiwi site which is not …

Since you originally mentioned router and new Internet provider I assume this is a phone connecting through wifi to a home network rather than the cell network, correct?
-
What version software are you running? There was a bug with this fixed in v1.522 (8 May 22)
-
Can you connect to http://websdr.ewi.utwente.nl:8901/ ? What about just the generic http://kiwisdr.com ? If you use an ad blocker (e.g. uBlock Origin) try disabling it temporarily and see if that helps.

Can someone else respond to this please? (re: what kiwirecorder.py really is) I'm drowning in problems right now..
