I do allow automatic updates, but I didn't know how often they updated. This was just the result of a grep from 'messages' this morning. I had added him to my (very long) list of local blacklists so either way, that IP won't be getting in again. Car…

I was looking for a way to limit my WSPR autoruns for LF & MF to darkness hours only, and stumbled upon this thread. I thought maybe crontab could be used to turn the WSPR extensions on/off… Perhaps in a future revision John will accommodate it …

https://forum.kiwisdr.com/index.php?p=/discussion/comment/18513#Comment_18513 No, I wouldn't get rid of the logfiles, I just move the ones that logrotate has already archived. Even then, I don't keep them forever...a find command deletes those after…

There's nothing wrong with your aliases, John. I timed it and they take an average of 1:45 to execute. I learned something. I'm quite impressed at the literal library of aliases. It's almost a secret programming language. Carl

Ahhh. That sounds like the issue. I just need to exercise patience. Thank you John. Carl

Wow... a lot of aliases in the .bashrc file. And I did find what I was looking for, and even copied and pasted the long command out of the bashrc alias and tried it and it still hung. No errors given, it just sits there like it wants a sandwich... I…

https://forum.kiwisdr.com/index.php?p=/discussion/comment/18109#Comment_18109 Thank you, John. I swore I saw it here, but now I realize I must have seen it there... Sucks getting old. Carl

https://forum.kiwisdr.com/index.php?p=/discussion/3005/tailscale-install-on-kiwi Tailscale absolutely works on my Kiwi working on a BBAI-64. I have a Kiwi in a networking situation where I have absolutely no interest in sharing it with anybody, so T…

John, That's incredibly helpful! Thanks! EC

EDIT: My find skills need work: /root/kiwi.config/dx.json seems to be it.

Perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. I didn't see it in the documentation. Thanks! Carl, K6CRS

You got it. Expect an email shortly. EC

Thanks for the reply. The 4 steps didn't make a difference, and it doesn;t seem like I have a build log: root@BeagleBone:~# cat /root/build.log cat: /root/build.log: No such file or directory root@BeagleBone:~#

I followed the directions in the first post to build and configure the AI-64, but at the end of the process I don't seem to have a httpd or apache/apache2 server running. All connections to the ip @ 8073 are refused... The make step seemed abnormall…
