red triangle (pointing to right) at rest, spinning square when recording
-
not sure when that PW got set, wasn't intentional
-
what is the criteria for stations appearing on the map? I "thought" mine was on there, now gone (?)
-
I have done a lot of work with small mag loops such as shown in the attached photo. BW is an issue but his CW may make it through
-
he's within my 1000 km range, I'll listen tonight
-
I routinely receive stuff on that band out to about 1000 km. WSPR however, which can be much weaker than CW.
-
So after a more permanent install of the Odroid-XU4/Ubuntu into my network, a reboot of it, and kiwi moving to 1.96, I do not see that lingering...
-
Thanks, I am cleaning up a few things here and will see if issue persists

I started this thread http://forum.kiwisdr.com/discussion/1189/use-of-kiwirecorder-kiwiwspr-etc#latest
-
I have used those PCtel 40dB units for several things. High performance for <$50. They are no longer used for cell towers, replaced by ones with cross band filters, so $high for $low!
-
if I use this command: kiwiwspr -J z it kills the kiwiwspr tasks running on the second computer but the kiwirecorder.py sessions on the kiwi linger. How to stop those? I wanted to change freqs with a script on 2nd computer for unattended band change…
-
an option on your script that would be handy would be a -L or ?, load so that all existing daemons are killed and the one in name.conf is loaded kiwiwspr.sh -L name.conf That would work great for using cron in Linux to shift bands based upon TOD
-
what about 60M... I can add it but curious why left out
-
it definitely catches stuff that the kiwi wspr would miss. I need to now consider how to use my 5 available channels of kiwi with this scheme
-
tons of decode on 40, will need to compare after a while
-
now working!!
-
an issue with captures as it needs numpy... need to track that down
-
my kiwi.conf look like declare -r KIWI_LIST=( ### Format of each element: ### OurID(no spaces) IP:PORT MyCall MyGrid KiwPassword (NULL => none required) "MY_KIWI_0 192.168.1.5:8073 WA2ZKD FN13ed pass…

I plan to try this on an Odroid XU4 which is even faster than any Pi
-
Yes, please upload is and also a description of your block diagram. Thanks!
-
lucky to have a QRM owner that will work with you!
-
And this http://giro.uml.edu/didbase/scaled.php

IIRC, some BBB can cause spurs (?)
-
I bought a +40 dB gain antenna on eBay for <$50 and split that
-
I have 2 kiwi. I run 40 wspr on 1 channel of the guest box, and 4 other wspr on the second. I cron band changes on that one. Do you find that 40 suffers even when it is the only activity on a single kiwi?
-
How many instances wspr-autorun are you running on the kiwi simultaneously?
-
Kiwi users seem to range from pure radio people to radio/computer people, I'm somewhere in the middle, There's a few things that didn't jump out at me when I few looked through the files that the more radio-only people might struggle with: 1 - what…
-
I run one kiwi with four autorun sessions and another with 1 autorun, external "guests" and frequent local visits by me. Have not seen any issues
-
is view counter working?
-
same with 1.93
