One of these and a 100 uH or so inductor would do it https://www.amazon.com/Capacitor-Variable-Single-365-Rotation/dp/B00EQI9K9O

I am building something similar to Martin but for the lower BC frequencies. Currently, I have a HPF

I like to run one channel 24X7 on WSPR or at least when I am not using it for other listening, so that would be a great enhancement!

You have 2 options.... 1) add a AMBC High Pass filter which would attenuate everything below 1.7 MHz 2) build a Notch filter for 540 KHz

I bought one of these and it's very clean... it didn't fix my 3600 KHz buzz however, confirming my POV that it is coming in the antenna.

I knew Color Burst! My next move is shut the whole house except for the Kiwi and see :-)

The exact freq is closer to 3585.5

Yep, I saw him again this morning. So have logged him at both end of the grayline now

MELP Digital Voice is also sent via those 110 modems at rates from 600-2400 bps

Websocket can be an issue for users that are behind corporate firewalls. I know <sigh>

I used to do the Static IP dance on a lot of stuff and my friends told me better to let the router handle it. Most (all?) routersallow you to lock the MAC to a fixed IP address. That way a device like the KiwiSDR will get the same address DHCP'd to…

I note now that this has already been requested!

Seems like deleting stuff might be easy..... looking at lines like these, just delete a whole line, correct? ,[10253.75,"CW","FSK","FSK-CW%20ID,%208PM",{"WL":1}],[10285.00,"USB","FSK",&…

More testing for interference....* added Type-43 ferrites on all cables. * terminated antenna input in 50 ohm, things look very clean on spectrum analyzer display and with a narrow waterfall * I must have lucked out, as a I see no evidence that 5V …

I stopped using static IP in my devices and instead use MAC/IP locking in the router.

Too bad you can't get PPS from the GPS chip. That would give you uSec accuracy. Maybe your technqiue yields the same though. -Jim

The GPS time displayed on the GPS tab isn't used for anything then?
-
I'll point the ntpd in the Kiwi BB to my ntpd with PPS and see what happens

course and coarse! Not a good thing to mix up in the GPS world... I meant coarse clock.

Great Info! I have a similar problem in that I live near 3 or more strong AMBC stations. I just put my Kiwi on the air yesterday and my initial solution was to add a 1800KHz HPF but I was going to start building something simllar to what you have n…

House them in a Faraday cage.... it's practical to build one using wood, sheetmetal, and bronze screen.

There are various HPF filters such as http://www.stridsberg.com/prod02.htm but you lose the LW and MW band. I was lucky to have one of those and diagnose things. I am now lookign at ways to notch the strongest signals in the MW band. I have one that…
