I agree and didn't think it was the PSU but asked about the meter to put that thought to bed.

Do you have a voltmeter?

It sounds more like a BBG problem. If it were I, I would find a debian image and burn it onto another flash, remove the Kiwi cape, and see if the BBG works as a Unix system. https://beagleboard.org/latest-images

Is it connected to a router? Does the router show its existance?
-
The one mode I can't find any info on but surely exists is TMD, Trans Mason-Dixon line. That is, where we in the Northeast seem to hear so many retirees and snowbirds in Florida :-)

I have been running the variants on this for months and now have the latest version online. Very pleased! Thanks Rob

I have noted odd signals just below 10 MHz here and determined it was an intruder, didn't look like yours however

why not get a CW sending program that creates audio that would go to a TX but capture it to a wav file. Perfect CW that way.
-
Has anyone tried using /dev/urandom and pacat to play the audio from kiwirecorder real-time?

I think PulseAudio is a Linux thing.

Nice work! So for Kiwi's "young decoder scheme", it surely does well and will likely get better

The crontab file that KA7U listed above has a sample

Martin.... the xfmrs were needed when I had six notches going, not so much with 3 or less

Link to my filter info http://forum.kiwisdr.com/discussion/593/am-overload-solved#latest

I use notches similar to what Martin shows. I also have 1:4 and 4:1 xfrmrs in/out of the filter assembly which results in a somewhat higher Q
-
I have never seen evidence of my active loop LNA being pickled. I mention the notches as that is a way to get protection for any active device in the path without wiping out a whole range,

I solved a lot of IMD issues here on my public kiwi with the AMBC notch filters I posted a long time ago. The Q is high enough to allow reception of most of the rest of the AMBC band and of course there's no out of band IMD from combinations of the …

work well, I have one on my wspr only kiwi #2

further to the point of good decoders.... no commercial use of CW any more ... some special ops guy still use it when embedded but all manual, sometimes even keying an H-250 handset!
