a wife friendly GPS window sill mount might be a picture frame with a ground plane on the back, looking like a A frame from the side, with puck facing out and up out window :-)
-
Drift OK, no roof access though.
-
Ron, look at the Degen/Kaito MS-31 type loop
-
I am thinking about something stuck on the glass...
-
I opened another kiwi here without 20 KHz to get my TDoA back online.. http://jimlill.com:8074
-
I live at 43 deg N 77 deg W and have to use "aiming caution"
-
The magnetic poles are not in play here, it's the geographic poles. (Image)
-
is it the mag poles, or those null coverage areas that scallop the extreme latitudes?
-
There's a lot of people running kiwiwspr, no wsprdaemon. Below is a snapshot of middle day results for today, rank reflecting most uniques. That's the top ten in North America and 5 of them are running kiwisdr + wsprdaemon. Special congrats to KD2O…

HNY..... I posted something on that awhile ago.... http://forum.kiwisdr.com/discussion/comment/4705#Comment_4705

I will be opening up channels on my wspr boxes at some point soon..
-
I set mine to zero available for TDoA
-
my Chrome shows now of the little sdr.hu icons... seldom look there until the 20 KHz edit: none on the endmemo page either.... font install to OS fixed it. But why firefox didn't need it?
-
I just realized that Linux/Chrome on my system does not display the 20 KHz etc. icons on sdr.hu, just a little square box. Firefox is OK though.
-
OK, if we are asking, how about a 2 ch 30 KHz mode for those chasing the new 24 KHz WB waveforms
-
John: thanks so much for the new mode/BW. I intend to use it for some multipath studies.
-
If you have multiple kiwi you need to put them all on 10 Mbps and then turn one at a time back to 100
-
broken wire SNR is the same as non-broken as long as not system noise limited
-
HF WB technology uses 24 KHz of spectrum... Harris and Rockwell both have sold systems that are in use
-
2G ALE is still is use but is being replaced by 3G, 3G+WB (Harris Proprietary), and 4G (not yet totally defined)
-
have you tried using I/Q and an external decoder?
-
have some fun.... try a command like this http://rx2.wa2zkd.net:8073/?f=1450/0,10000lsb You may find you have better fidelity. There appears to be a bug though, as that gave me usb but one sideband or the other is all you need.

Thankfully, I only have to filter 3 MF AMBC TX and do so with notches that are not otherwise very impactful. That's on WA2ZKD here in Rochester NY. WA2ZKD/1 in Rockport Maine lives without filters. Both stations use Pixel Loops although I'll be swi…
-
I put 20 dB of attentuation inline, more than enough, then went and looked at the strongest signals in the AMBC band, making note of the signal strength. A little math on those can tell a story.

WA2ZKD/1 in Maine with Kiwi and Pixel Loop did NOT hear it
-
I had good luck using Spectrum Lab for DGPS. Windows and will run in Linux using Wine.
-
Steve is in Victor NY, a rural area SE of Rochester
-
I would suggest you use Rob's 2nd computer scheme. It was kiwiwspr.sh but now wsprdaemon.sh. It will service all kiwi channels without any issues.

I need to get back to this project... has anybody tried any Grove stuff?
