I agree with John, external decoding rather than wspr-autorun is better suited

any Kiwi will have a delay in the RF to audio path, it's the nature of the design. It is not like other SDR in that regard.

There are no switchers on any of the RF related gear. The network switch may have one though. My next mission is to sniff with my "RF Explorer" spectrum analyzer. My trusty Sony 7600 has failed me!

The USB pack I have seems pretty quiet.... but I suspect it varies widely...... A 6V SLA battery with a 5V LM7805 type regulator is a certain quiet way.

Update: I successfully updated to Mint 19 and installed the other packages needed, and it built. Now to figure out how to use it!
