I've raised it up and of course this RF swamp I live in haunted me right away. I saw further evidence that the Mini-Circuits ZFSC-2-6 splitter I wanted to use can't handle the swamp. Contrary to published specs and bench measurements, it definitel…

I don't think I am alone in having issues finding the search function the first time. A reminder, it is at the bottom right corner of the page index (Image)

Here's both (or am I a decade off?) (Image)

my other AI is approaching 1G, so will soon see

this has been running for 2 weeks, but not WD continuously (Image)

set the critical threshold to 50000 and see if it shuts down early as a test

related stuff can be found at /sys/devices/virtual/thermal/thermal_zone0 after logging in from ssh more info here https://groups.google.com/forum/#!categories/beagleboard/beaglebone-ai

after adding the antenna, did see some very low level stuff up at 20-ish. Now have 13 ch. of wsprdaemon feed running and temp is OK. That brought my total wsprdaemon load on that box (Odroid XU4) up to 27 channels so had to tweak a few things ther…

Glenn.... you can try it here. http://jimlill.com:8076/
-
be cautious that you don't ever do anything with wsprdaemon as root.
-
Glenn, How BB is BB? full "DC" to 30 MHz. Or large range like 5-10. The SPEC function gives a lot of different answers depending on that.
-
Thanks Clint.... I used the available fans for POC and once I know that works, I'll upgrade the fan(s)

I'll be looking at noise etc. over the weekend. Since the last pix, I added these at each end (Image)
-
If only..... :) I'd do a lot of things different if that was the case. My approach seems to work and make no mods to either the KiwiSDR cape of the BB-AI.

Rohit.. My OS is Mint Tessa which is pretty much Ubuntu. Once you install wine you can right click on sodira and it will say Open With... select wine program loader
-
Rob: isn't html2txt called html2text ?
-
I run Sodira using Wine

Is there so much MW energy that the amp gets upset when looking into the shunt of the filter?
-
Wasn't extension locking added recently

Christoph is the expert, but he may have called it a day there in Poland!

I found that constraining the input to a switch (at the router) to 10 m can be an issue if there a lot of 10 m activity at the switch ports.
-
Happy to report that fixed it, took a while... patience paid off!
-
I am currently running the file system corrupt commands....

external apps like Spectrum Lab can help with those kind of measurements https://www.qsl.net/dl4yhf/spectra1.html

next week, I'll raise that up another 8ft. I also knocked some other spurious noise here. Yesterday, I was 13th worldwide for wspr reporters, up from about 50th!

Found and fixed 10 MHz issue, my wspr unique count is up 25% with new antenna. many signals 6-10 dB better SNR than with my Pixel Loop
-
I think the issue is that there is no easy way to differentiate a discrete spur from a legit signal. I sent him mail a long time ago, but still seems to have the same limitation.

I like the agc by BW idea
