No network after power outage

I have a KiwiSDR v1, it is connected via ethernet to a Cisco switch. Whenever I have a power outage, the kiwi boots up much faster than the Cisco switch. But once the switch is online, the Kiwi never connects. I have to reboot the Kiwi to get it online. It's like it stops asking for DHCP address, or sees the ethernet interface down and gives up.

This just happened to me for the 5th or 6th time, so I set the IP to static hoping that fixes it. But I prefer using DHCP static leases instead. Is this something that can be corrected in the software? Thanks!

  • On the admin "network" tab change the value of the menu called Power on restart delay (secs). Use a value that is longer than the switch reboot time.
