I think I'm only allowing 1 user on my KiwiSDR v2. [fixed]
Hello.
I'm not very familiar with my KiwiSDR settings.
I've received complaints from users stating that my SDR always appears busy.
I think there's an error in my settings.
My goal is to get as many users as possible.
Can you please help me?

On the admin page, "security" tab, change the menu called "Number of channels not requiring a password even if password set". You might have it set to "1" currently while also having a user password specified.
Either remove the user password or increase the count in the menu to the number of channels you want ordinary user to access without specifying the user password. The remaining number of channels will then be reserved only for users who know the password.
You're correct.
I had "1" for "Number of channels not requiring a password even if password set."
Thank you very much.
The wording of that menu item is perhaps not 100% clear. But I couldn't think of a better way of saying it.
Maybe you should replace "number" with "quantity"? In some languages translations, it means the same thing. But in English, it has a different meaning. I think ))
I can say that I set "None" in Security: "Number of channels..."
But in that case, Register on rx.kiwisdr.com (in "Public") is not allowed.
I had to change it to 3 channels in "Security".
Regards,
Yes, because it makes no sense to try and register a Kiwi as being public when there will be no channels anyone can connect to!
If you want all your channels to have a password then presumably everyone who knows the password also knows how to get to your Kiwi.
