Frequency's off
After I upgraded to Debian 11.9....
I see on CB Radio LSB tuning is off from Debian 9...
27385 LSB was right on sound.... Now I have tune to 273855 for correct sound on USB....
That's a lot, I think...
GPS is on.... Should I do a manual Calibration?
Comments
My Clock Freq is 66665900
The KiwiSDR has ben on for days after upgrade to Debian 11.9.
I realize that CB radios are not as accurate as the KiwiSDR receiver is. I've seen over the years that some CB radios are 'off' tuned. That's understandable, if they had a GPS receiver for frequency calibration and accuracy they would be dead on. I think this is a correct statement.
You can't do a manual calibration if GPS cal is on and working. Check the control panel "stats" tab to see if the GPS is correcting. "ADC clock" line, "avgs" counter non-zero.
Don't use CB carriers to determine if Kiwi cal is off. Use time stations on standard carrier frequencies: 2.5, 5, 10 and 15 MHz.
I did the manual calibration and..... I was off..... now for CB Radios on USB and LSB it sounds right....
Thanks.... for helping me....
