Connection dropouts

Is there a simple way I can check if my many glitches dropouts and disconnects are from my 4G router at the Kiwi site?

Perhaps it's my router configuration?

I may just go up and switch out my router up at the site tomorrow to see if any difference I have a dual 4g antenna input router with two external yagis showing full strength signal.

My spare router is a single antenna unit ...but perhaps something is going wrong in the TO link 4g router with some sort of phasing of the two 4g signals?

I'm sure this question has been addressed before, but searching through topics I can't find the best method.

Perhaps the ping command would give me a running tab?

Or perhaps going up to site and looking at any router statistics might show something?

  • Well, today I went up to the site and looked at my router stays and everything was fine .100% signal strength and 25db SNR.

    Internet speed and latency excellent.

I swapped out to a different 4g router and SIM card.

Slower speed router...but full strength network signal and after 10 minutes...I was hearing the dropout's,the UNDERRUN followed by Overrun.

Sometimes audio and waterfall freeze for 4 or 5 seconds?

It sure seems like the 4g network but I'm at a loss on how to test for dropouts?

I've not done Ping tests since the days of old at work 15 years ago.

I'm not having any luck finding my routers public IP address .

I find it on what's my IP ,but pinging in it's ipv4 displayed address gets no responses. So far ,can't find of the TP link router has remote ping allowed?

I can easily ping other devices on the subnet ..

    But from outside no luck.

Hoping to resolve the issue before I leave next week

I don't return until next June.

So,the kiwi may just have to limp along such as it is.
