Have you considered a version using the 16 bit @ faster A/D etc ?

    We've thought about that. But then you're moving into the price territory of existing SDRs and away from the original design philosophy (inexpensive + acceptable performance). We'd rather spend time in the future writing all the interesting software extensions and applications we have in mind.

    Still, it is tempting. Putting a gigabit Ethernet PHY and magnetics on a second generation board has some appeal. There should be plenty of room in the FPGA for one of the open source GE cores.
