v1.707/1.709 Autonotch filter?
If i recall correctly under the blue AUDIO tab there used to be a radio button to activate the autonotch.
This seems to have disappeared.
Is that deliberate or accidental change, or has it moved?
thanks
Steve
It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!

The autonotch settings will appear after you select either the
wdsp
orLMS
noise filters. Scroll the audio tab down a little bit after the selection.thanks - |Steve
Has the autonotch algorithm recently changed when the control button was relocated?
Currently the autonotch is noticably degrading audio quality making audio distinct "digita;l" in sound.
As far as I recall previously the autonotch was much smoother in operation and did not detract from the audio quality.
I have observed this on several receivers.
Thanks
Nope. No changes. Make sure you don't have the denoiser filter turned on at the same time as the autonotch. That can lead to the digital "watery" sound you describe. Particularly with the LMS filter.
While testing I found the LMS and wdsp filters only worked on CW signals. Not well on SSB at all. The spec filter was better for those.
