Saving DX labels and other config...

Hello folks,

I have been spending the last few days putting important (to me, at least) DX labels in my Kiwi, and I have been toying around with the idea of creating a cron job that would invoke a bash script that would periodically FTP that database file across my VPN to a sync server.

I'm not fully conversant with where those files are kept. Does anyone know where the dx.json file resides? By extension, do other important configuration files reside near there that could be swept up and copied for safekeeping in case my fingers brick my Kiwi?

EDIT: My find skills need work: /root/kiwi.config/dx.json seems to be it.

  • I can never remember the syntax for the find command. So there's an alias on all Kiwi's called ff (find file):

    root@ai64:~# ff dx.json

    ./kiwi.config/dx.json

    ./Beagle_SDR_GPS/unix_env/kiwi.config/dist.dx.json

  • John,

    That's incredibly helpful! Thanks!
