kiwirecorder status and error reports needed

wsprdaemon V2.5a can be configured to log background noise level data to a cloud database and that data from a number of sites is being used for ionospheric research by the HamSCI group: http://hamsci.org/basic-project/personal-space-weather-station. Those academics are concerned that overload (or other) errors detected by the Kiwi are not being associated with the wav files created by 'kiwirecorder --dt-sec=120 ...' .

So is there any way for me to monitor the status of kiwirecorder and/or the occurrence of OV events during the recording of a 2min wav file?
