Using VAC and external programs for decoding data

Just wanted to check if I was doing this in the best way?

I wanted to run the kiwi on two frequencies, and export the audio stream to YADD a DSC Decoding software. So I have set up two sessions using the /?no_wf on my receiver. I have one session running in Google, and the other in Edge so I can VAC the audio streams into two versions of YADD on the PC.

Is this the most efficient way to do this, or do we have a way just to export the audio stream (I don't need to view anything) into a third party program?

Dave,
I think you have the most efficient way of routing the audio to the decoder software, using a Windows PC. If you chose to use Pulse Audio it would give you somewhat different setup options, but the results would be the same.

Hi Dave,

You could have a look at audiorouter (https://github.com/audiorouterdev/audio-router). It works pretty well for what you are trying to do although I am not sure if Windows 10 is supported. I noticed that sometimes the connection fails for unknown reasons. On the forum another user mentioned Firefox V56 with an extension called "audio device changer". This combination gives good connections to VAC lines, but the extension does not run on newer Firefox versions.

Actually it is a shame that seemingly none of the html-5 browsers have built-in capability to route audio to different endpoints. Luckily we now already have growing number of good decoder extensions available in Kiwi for the most common modes.

I had a request in email for a list of all the WIn10 audio routing software programs. I don't know them being a Mac person. Could you guys help me out? From this thread it seems we have so far:
