Using WSPR to evaluate your station
Perhaps one way to assess how well your system hears is to assign one channel to a wspr band. After 24 hours, go to wsprnet.org and see how many spots you sent. You can do the same with logs in the kiwi but I find wsprnet to be a cleaner quicker way. 40 and 20 are good bands to get a feel for it. For my station, I log about 2000 40M spots and 600 20M per 24 hours with the current conditions. That might be a baseline for stations in North America.

That's were I found my "old bicycle wheels resting on a fence" was better than quite a few stations (literally laughed out loud).
I avoid 20 here due to too many "proper" stations with real aerials and 40m due to local QRM peaking there when it is happening.
