Very cool, thank you very much for fixing my Kiwi! Eckhard
-
Sent you a mail with the data to access my Kiwi. Eckhard

It seems to be a general problem. Just set my Kiwi-board up with a new BBB, updating from 1.486 to 1.660 is going on for one hour now ... Let's wait for the master. Eckhard

Hmm ... Backup is faulty, it does not boot. All settings gone ... that's too bad! Do I have a chance to get it back via SSH? Thanks! Eckhard

Hi, my Kiwi on BBAI failed to install this update, I cannot connect to it anymore. Power-on reset does not help. The router recognises the Kiwi by giving it a IP dress, but that's it. I have to go back using my Backup card. Could you please have a l…

Works again, great! Thank you very much! Eckhard

Hi, it seems that the Antenna Switch extension is affected by this update. It worked on my Kiwi all the time, but now I've got the message 'Antenna switch extension is not configured.' In the extension tab the Antenna Switch configuration data is un…

Confirmed, the same here. In addition, using null LSB/USB increases the noise on weak signals making them less audible. On the other hand, the popping is not audidble on weak signals. 73 Eckhard

Hi, I'm not sure what else to do ... it is an i7 10th generation machine with 64G RAM, some open tabs do not bring the audio down. However, I did what you said, but it does not change anything. I checked on Chrome, Edge and Firefox, it' all the same…

Going offline now, have to start early tomorrow morning. Eckhard

And yes, I'm using Win 10 Prof. Eckhard

Here is somethong for you: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/lrzkpkwm8boh7k9/AAC8G3Q7pUrzgQQgmc4A1hf3a?dl=0 Especially towards the end of the clip the popping can be heard very clearly. Eckhard

That's really strange! This minute I'm running it, and there is this popping in audio! And again I tried to record it using the Kiwi recorder - and there is nothing in the recorded audio. Strange ... Eckhard

Go there http://erserver.ddns.net:8073/ and use 1215kHz . Eckhard

I did some tests ... it seems to me depending on the signal strength. On very strong stations it is significant, a popping from two times every second to one time every one or two seconds. Not regular, its changing all the times. On weak stations it…

The mild audio popping is observed here, too. It is since 1.438. Interestingly, when recording the popped audio, it is not in the recordings. I wanted to upload a recorded sound sample this morning, but it was clear while the original sound was not.…

Works now, thank you very much! Eckhard

Ah, ok, thanks. So I'll wait before completely reinstalling my BBAI. Eckhard
-
... a simple reboot did solve it. Strange anyway, but it worked now. Eckhard

It is described there https://github.com/OH1KK/KiwiSDR-antenna-switch-extension cd /root git clone https://github.com/OH1KK/KiwiSDR-antenna-switch-extension.git cd KiwiSDR-antenna-switch-extension bash ./ant-switch-extension-installer You need to …

Hi, I use the antenna switch extension since quite a while, and this never happened. I use the snaptek-style protocol, even my HW is not from snaptek, it is home brewed.
-
Thanks for the help! However, I decided to give the Kiwi a fresh installation from the scratch, which of course solved it. I also have the antenna switch running, so this might have been the reason. It would be nice to get any information when some…

That sounds great already! Would be nice to have that option also in one of the next updates!

No - there's no filter for that kind of wideband garbage! The only way is not to use this nonsense ... to feed HF on unshielded cables with undefined impedance and thus unmatched means that a lot of HF is radiated. However, it's also often used her…

There's no message, just a blank tab and nothing else. And again, it is only on one of my computers, on others it runs in Firoefox without any problems. I have no idea what the difference is between them. Eckhard

Some more information from debugger, see image.
-
No, only that one and debugger jumps into line 181.
-
Ok, there's only one: XDLS seen servers=0 xdLocalStorage.js:181:4 Clicking on xdLocalStorage.js:181:4 brings up the debugging window with line 181 shortly marked, see appended file. Eckhard

Hi, I've got the same here with Firefox on Windows 10. I cannot load my KiwiSDR webpages (both, admin and the radio), I just get a blank screens without any message. I cleared cache and all other stored data in that Firefox, it doesn't help. It's no…
