  • Thanks, I see it listed now again ... I was using your reverse proxy before, but at times that was slow. Hence the reason to put it direct ...
  • yeah, i use a $5 VM there to route my traffic to my internal network (not only for the Kiwi) because of the provider grade NAT ... could you make an exception for just that IP? its fixed ...
  • took it apart again, put it in the housing and reconnected all wires ... All fine still, must have been a bad contact or something ... or gremlins Thanks for all the help, im back in the air! Cheers, Rick

  • thanks for the reply. Yes i had to press the boot button to get it to load 10. After that the lights will go off, i remove the power and SD card and boot. DHCP will provide the IP (i have a reservation for the mac) and I can SSH to it, but it wont …
  • It seems to do the trick though ... I changed my hostname as well to get rid of all those connections attempts. So for now it seems to be ok again. Just waiting for a new powersupply, since the old one seems to be on the verge of breakdown. Thanks …
  • @jks I think the update worked .. I now see in the log: SND BAD PARAMS: sl=15 83|69|84 [SET autonotch=0] ip=47.242.241.144 #################################### And they are being kicked off. Sadly, i think my power supply is dying ... so need to a…

  • http://forum.kiwisdr.com/index.php?p=/discussion/comment/11827#Comment_11827 Hi John, Yes on everything ... you see them in users and admin page as DRM and existing connections stop responding, with all connections at the end timing out (ping still …
  • Hi Yuri, Yes that would normally be easy. Im only on a provider grade NAT, ie no public facing IP and im using the reverse proxy service from John. So I dont have access to firewal rules. All i have are the iptables on the kiwi itself. I tried addin…

  • Thanks for sharing ... Yes that was the reason for starting this topic. I cannot imagine we are the only ones having these issues
  • lol, yeah i feel you ... its very annoying. Unfortunately my ISP changed the setup here, so we have to deal with provider level NAT. Meaning I cant get any traffic to my router and I have to use the reverse proxy service from John. So I cant filter …
  • Hi Stu, You are absolutely right. I found the blocks which they are part of, so its easy enough to block the whole thing, just didnt want to go to that extreme (as it seems to be legitimate ISP), but if it continues like this i will certainly do it…
  • hi Stu, Unfortunately I have the reverse proxy service, otherwise I would have done the same. Just notice right now a new IP address again, looks like an endless battle ... It would be nice to recognise the pattern of connecting and block them base…
  • so all ok now, no need to be a HAM? Only need to authenticate (with all the hackers going around maybe not a bad idea to start with) ...
