  • I made good experience with the filament LEDs which recently popped up. They run on such high voltage that they often don't require a switching mode power supply, but only a capacitor dropper and a rectifier.

  • I replaced one bulb at the time at my radio HQ, now every light bulb is LED. On MW (or SW for that matter), no problems at all. I haven't tested further up. No filament LEDs.
  • I have some noise coming from my next door neighbor. The source seems to be on a timer, so I assume lights.
