Spectrum Analyzer Colour?

Not 100% sure how, but I have managed to disable the colour in the Spec and not 100% sure where the setting is for it. This is only via the proxy connection. I guess I could clear my browser settings for it, however I would be keen to know where that option is. (I have tinkered with most of the settings in the control panel.)

Cheers

Sean

"Slow Dev". That setting is there because years ago, on some slower mobile devices, browsers got bogged down drawing the rainbow spectrum. Then later some people (Martin, lol) said they liked having the the mono-color option. So I left it in.

  • LOL - thanks, the one and only button I didnt press.

  • Hi John,

I still use the mono colour option most of the time, in conjunction with the peak hold function.

I wonder how many folks actually use the spectrum display ? I tend to have it on all of the time, but I think I may be in the minority, and given the choice, I'd probably choose to have just that over the current default main waterfall view.

Maybe the "slow dev" button would be better incorporated into one of the other menus, or a new spectrum menu under the waterfall tab, along with the peak hold buttons, to make the usage more obvious, and clear a bit more space on the main control panel ?

    Just a thought,

    Martin

Ignore my ramblings, I forgot I normally have the waterfall tab open, Doh...

In my defence, it's getting late.

    Regards,

    Martin

  • I use it quite frequently too.
