edited May 15 in Problems Now Fixed

Dear all,

since a few days the sacnning funtion cannot be used anymore.

e.g. http://178.115.248.93:8073/?ext=ale,9000,1000,scan:1,log_time:4

was working yesterday without problems.

A lot of other SDR receiver with the same result since today...

Change after software update ?

Bernd (DK9FI)

PS: my own receiver (84.119.147.154) is still working well

  • Hmm. Yes, seems to be a bug in the v1.809 software release. That's unfortunate.

I've fixed the problem. But I'm not sure when we're going to have a new release.

  • Hi all,

It seems that you can manually launch the scanning in the "local" menu, click on the "scan" line of the url list of interest. ( If you click the "stop" button then you can click "scan" as usual to restart.) (v1.809).

  • Thanks! I forgot that the URL scan list is also entered as the first entry in the local menu.

  • Hi,

many thanks for very quick help!

It is working well in USB, not in LSB, no problem I think we can all wait for update.

By the way, if I set lock time in scan command line (,scan:1,log_time:4), why must I click again log option in the left field below?

In addition to setting the logging interval with log_time:N you also need to set a record menu option that includes logging. Such as "log" or "r+l" (record + log). So in the URL ...&rec:2&log_time:N Since rec:2 means the 3rd record menu entry "log" (counting from zero). See the ALE extension help panel.

The "log" button is for forcing a log to be taken manually.
