Is : serial number.proxy.kiwisdr.com:8073 classed as a local connection please?

    No it isn't actually. Even if you're on a computer on your "local" network, from the Kiwi's perspective, using a proxy connection (even for an admin connection) is going out to the proxy server at proxy.kiwisdr.com and back in again to your Kiwi.

    So the Kiwi sees it as a connection from the Internet. Hence not local. But remember that you can visit my.kiwisdr.com which should display a link using a local IP address to the Kiwi which will be treated as a local connection.
