Inactivity and 24h time limits enforced on local users? [network configuration error]
It seems that the inactivity and 24 hour time limits are being enforced on local users. I am running v1.800.
I noticed when I logged into my Kiwi that I am testing at home (locally), and checked the 'Users' tab, and there was an inactivity clock running. Sure enough, it sent me to the exemption password screen when it timed out.
I turned off the inactivity timer and set the 24h timer to a ridiculous level (10 minutes), and waited. Sure enough, it also sent me to exemption-land when the 24h timer expired. This is contraindicated in the 'Control' tab where the values are set "Connections from the local network are exempt".
Now, admin-wise, it does seem to behave correctly (no admin login from local connections) if i go to the /admin page from the local net, which is wanted.
I would note that an IPv6 address was logged as my local connection.
Bug?

IPv6 is not well supported. Probably the code for detecting if you're on a local network doesn't support IPv6 or has an IPv6-related bug. Although I would be a little surprised by that. I don't have a way to enable IPv6 here, so difficult to debug. Maybe I can get ssh & remote desktop access from someone.
Since this unit is beta until the middle of February, you can have at it all you want if you wish.

So the Kiwi code is fine w.r.t IPv6 local network detection. In this case there was no IPv6 local network defined (with a subnet) for the Ethernet interface. Only point-to-point L2 links to other networking software (private proxy etc). The IPv4 subnet was fine.
