GNSS, GPS, Galileo, QZSS
Hi all. A few thoughts, mainly about the Admin/GPS tab.
1. The recent bugfix has greatly improved the stability of this sub-system. Thank you.
2. The Galileo constellation is approaching completion. With a good view of the sky, there may be four or more satellites visible all the time already.
3. The 12 slots tend to get filled with a mixture of GPS and Galileo sats at medium-to-high elevations. A more accurate fix would be obtained with some lower-elevation satellites.
4. GPS is the name of the American constellation. The generic term for all such systems is GNSS.
5. We're hams and we like to tweak our Kiwi settings.
Therefore, I suggest that (1) the GPS tab should be renamed the GNSS tab, and (2) that admins should be able to enable/disable each constellation individually.
