Correct. The LNA is also affected by strong local signals so filtering must take place as close to the antenna as possible.

Quiet switch mode power supply (SMPS) for KiwiSDR
Agree with FrankinAu. For my Kiwi I use a dedicated 5V linear PSU. It consists of a 7.5V-2A transformer, a bridge rectifier, 2x1500 μF capacitors, LM340KC-5.0 TO-3 voltage regularor and a 5V crowbar module.
