All good @jks I'll dig deeper when the receiver arrives. Michael

Hi John, CC is perfectly good enough for me. PayPal is not important and I find myself using it less and less these days.
-
@HB9TMC Thanks for that, I have found my ISP is indeed using CGNAT so I'll give them a call to see what they can do.

Hi Martin My ISP supplied router is a Netgear Orbi via fibre. The NoIP dashboard shows an IP of 161.29.xxx.xxx while my router shows 100.71.xxx.xxx I have an RPi with Apache2 web server and I have port forwarded port 80 to this and if I browse to th…

Great news John, yes indeed I'll be off for two weeks during that period but likely chomping at the bit for the SDR. Cost?
-
No, the noise is pretty stable throughout day or night 24/7. OK I'll have a think on progressing this matter. If it is a switchmode power supply it's not being turned off at any time in the last six months!

That's good news John and I like the design of the case, will the completed KiwiSDR2 ship from NZ? I ask since I'm located in New Zealand!!
-
I left a request for 1 x KiwiSDR2 on Twitter but just in case............yes please, just one today thanks John.

Thanks Ben, while familiar with Linux the python code in SELCALD is just gobbledegook to me and each of those .py files fail immediately with no obvious solution for me. I think this code needs to be embedded in other applications such as FFT, audi…

Wow, received notification that my Drop(ped) Kiwi has shipped, that's well ahead of time.
-
Aah, that's great John, thank you.
-
May 3 is the estimated shipping date from the previous drop. I'm not sure when the next one is but if you sign up to Drop and register an interest in the Kiwi SDR kit then they will email you when the drop opens.

Great, thanks a lot, this should be within my skill set!

I've had success with recording the audio from a remote site using kiwirecorder.py and was happy with the results. I then tried my hand at an I/Q recording and while I think it worked I have no idea how to 'replay' the recorded file! Is there a wa…

Thanks guys, more than a year on I still don't have my KiwiSDR :-( I got caught up in the hype for an Airspy HF+ and waited nearly a year for it but was disappointed in its performance, mind you that was prior to the new firmware that gave some ga…

That's great advice, thanks John.

Does the BB need power as well as the 5v provided to the cape? i.e. do I need two power supplies?
-
Cheers, thank you.

Thank you for that John, I'll start gathering the peripherals and order the rx board in a week or two. Is GPS mandatory
