>leave password field blank in PuTTY or just hit return with ssh Hi, this is what I had understood but it never worked, the kiwi asking for a password. I will try debian next WE.(it's needed to put back the I/Q offset values in the config) than…

Nobody else having an issue on this ?

Ouaouh... will try next week when I will come back at the Kiwi's house :-)
-
Using PuTTY : ipaddress is enough. Then log-in and password (or not). I use this tool everyday for other Linux systems.

Hi there, I have spent this afternoon in a reorganisation of the network in my parent's house :-) - I have moved the modem-router up to the first floor - I have removed the $%@# PLC couplers from all the house, put an ethernet-to-wifi little box t…

The operation is planned for this WE, also the PLC (CPL in french) adapters will be removed from the house, they make too much broadband noise. I will use an ethernet to wifi client to connect the KiWi to the WiFi. :-).
-
I will SSH when I will be on the same network. Remotely only the port 8073 is open. Thanks for your help. :-)
-
>with an extra confirmation dialog Hem hem... yes :-) good idea.
-
The DC offsets are far too high, -5/-2 maybe the button has been clicked one day :-/ Nevetheless, I will need to go on site to unplug the antenna to have the RX quiet while reseting the IQ as this is not easy to do remotely :-))).
-
Ok. I never touched this but I will try. Need to learn all the mecanisms :-)

Hi, Just a question, what is the update period of the DDNS ? J-Luc
-
>DUC started successfully Yes yes yes it works (thanks remote control of Kiwi). Thanks a lot ! I remove the RPI tomorrow.
-
Will try tomorrow as I will go to update the antenna at my parent's house.
-
OUAOUUUUH ! :-)
-
will keep my raspberry for some time.
-
Argh... ok, thanks for the job already done. :-)
-
You could take "Server domain name" wich in the sdr.hu tab ?
-
I have "received" the 1.81 update on the Kiwi, it would be perfect for no-ip except that I have several hosts configured so I get an error message : "more than one host defined on your account at noip.com; please correct and retry&quo…

YESSSSS !!! :-bd ^:)^

NB against PLC (Power Line Carrier), against the electric fence of the neighbour (cows)... A NB would be a veeeery good idea, as it exists for example ih HDSDR where it is very efficient, having no effect at all on the heared signal. J-Luc F1JEK

Problem solved, a rasberry(*) will do for some time the DDNS registering, time for me to find another solution. With the noip2.sh as a service :-)
-
Yes, thanks a lot. I will configure one of my raspberries and install it in my parent's house, waiting for another solution.
-
Yes yes, this is why I will not use dyndns which is the only one proposed in the NetGear 1000 modem-router. And this is also why I need a solution to "register" a Netgear 1000 to no-ip without having a PC. If it is not possible to include…

no-ip seems a good choice.:-)

Netgear "something1000", only configurable on DynDNS, not no-ip/DDNS. And there is no computer in this house, only an android tablet.
