Upon booting the factory KIWISDR2 all went well. After changing from DHCP to static, the connection was lost to the KIWI and the router does not "see" it. Factory reflash 3x and router still does not see the kiwi, although there is a link …

I had an old BBG from another kiwi which i had switched out with a BBAI. I took the SD flash which i used to try to reflash the BBG provided with KiwiSDR2 and that flash worked with the old BBG. The old BBG defaulted back to DHCP and is currently u…

I used the above image file to try and reflash the BBG that shipped with the KIWISDR2, due to an issue when assigning a static IP, and it did not seem to restore default DHCP settings as it would not take an IP address. I had an older BBG from the 7…

Received on time, as expected. Initial boot up, no problems. However, When I set to static IP as I have done with my 7 other KIWI, I have now lost the ability to connect to it. My network routing table does not show it even taking an address. Compl…

Excellent. Thank you.

I have seen and duplicated the black water fall issue on a Kiwi/BBAI in 14rx mode. after an update from first time browser access, selecting the water fall filter. Refreshing browser restores waterfall. I sent you (support at kiwisdr) a dropbox …

HI John, Do we know if version 1.661 is stable enough for BBAI deployment? or should we hold off on updates?
-
Problem has been resolved. I selected "find" on the Bodnar, however, I never selected update when it completed.
-
John, Thank you. I will try again.

I am just noticing that if you navigate to the kiwi status page, ADC OV counter function does not appear to be working in version 1.653. Is anyone else seeing this? None of my 7 Kiwi which are generally hit with ADC OV during morning an evening hour…

Does anyone know what command to use to set the default cpu frequency to 1GHz? I set to Cf1 however, a reboot defaults back to 400MHz with this latest kiwi version 1.653 Thank you in advance. Tom

Hi Martin, I have had similar issues and was able to resolve with a T1-1 (mini circuits) right at the input of the kiwi. I use these in front of all of my kiwi. https://forum.kiwisdr.com/uploads/244/O0RCESW6423R.jpg

https://forum.kiwisdr.com/index.php?p=/discussion/comment/17519#Comment_17519 Perhaps the addition of some type of watchdog feature, selectable from the admin page, might be a good option? This would allow us to enable or disable the automated kick…

Hi John, Thank you for all of your work on this. The one question I do have, is, do we know when or about what version the audio dropouts began? This appears to have a significant impact on WSPRDAEMON. Thank you again Tom

https://forum.kiwisdr.com/index.php?p=/discussion/comment/17481#Comment_17481 It turns out that in 14 rx channel mode it appears to reduce the GPS channels to 10 to recover some CPU utilization. One of mine that was upgraded to 1.649 was an 8 rx cha…

Just updated 2 of my 7 kiwi to v 1.649. One is showing 12 GPS channels while the other is showing 10. (Not locks, but actual channels) Not trying to be vague however something is not right. Nosie floor on 29MHz is 5dbm lower on the unit showing 12…

For Kiwi SDR 2, what is the input voltage tolerance at the barrel connector?

It may be beneficial depending on the release date. For some, Around the holiday's budgets get tight. Paypal offers lower interest and sometimes not interest on pay over time options.

I will definitely be interested in at least 2.

https://forum.kiwisdr.com/index.php?p=/discussion/comment/16634#Comment_16634 The original Kiwi enclosure utilized brass standoffs for mounting. I had found that I needed to replace these with smaller nylon standoffs while integrating the BBAI, whi…

https://forum.kiwisdr.com/index.php?p=/discussion/comment/16617#Comment_16617 My only comment regarding the DIN barrels is that when you unplug them, if they are still powered and the tip contacts any part of the case, its dead short: and things let…

Since I am still powering my KIWI via the barrel connector, I had purposely placed the fans connection before that CM filter on the KIWI due to the current rating concerns that had come up earlier this year; about that part not being suitable to sup…

For those of us utilizing the BBAI, BBAI64 or future BB, cooling will likely be an issue. Since the updated board is still in progress, would it be of consideration to add a pair of 5v output JST style 2 pin connectors for fans? Currently I solder t…

This is good news. Not sure if it was an oversight, but will there be a selctable AM BCB filter? This was always a problem on version 1. Is there possibly the abiltiy to still view the full water fall/ spectrum when used in 14RX mode if not using t…
